The O.T. SE: The Original Thread - Special Edition!

So I know you guys tend to be singlemindedly focuses on the Original Trilogy ™, but I thought you might be interested to know that there is a NEW STAR WARS MOVIE OUT!!! It’s called “The Fourth Awakening” or somesuch, and it’s actually pretty good! Even better than the Phantasm Meddles.
It’s even got LUKE & HAN IN IT!!!
Generally, it plays on nostalgia with as much singleminded focus as you guys, and does so pretty well.

The only gripe I have is that I think they should have used the real Carrie Fisher instead of CGI. The CGI is okay, but not totally convincing. Just lacks that “lifelike” feel you get from human actors. She probably asked for too much money, but they should have just paid her. I mean, the movie’ll probably end up making a fortune once word gets out!

No, really, there’s a new Star Wars!
It’s got your favorite characters Luke, Han and Chewbacca, and some all-new characters too! Like scrappy tomboy Reina, ace tie-fighter pilot Poo Damocles, and double-agent Stormtrooper FN-1138! And then a villain named Rilo Kiley who looks like Darth Vader, sounds like Darth Vader and acts like Darth Vader…but man…IT AIN’T DARTH VADER! (You know cuz he takes his helmet off at one point and you can tell it’s not Little Orphan Anniekins. And also, he has a shrine to the real Darth Vader with a decomposing skull like [spoiler alert!]Jason in Friday the 13th Part 2 to his mom. Gross!) And a new R2 unit with a wacky new mode of motility: spinning around like a wild top! It’s super fun!

I have been here a lot longer then you have and I know the forum puts a little note up every time a post is edited.

This has to be a joke. Either that or the world went completely insane while I wasn't looking but then again that seems to be happening a lot to me lately.

I only edited the post because at first I said Darth Vader was in it but then I later realized, Wait! That wasn’t Darth Vader! It was his son, Rilo Kiley!

Yeah, I thought that too, but it turns out George sold the rights to Jar-Jar Abraham, the visionary filmmaker who made the first three episodes of Lost–you know, before it jumped the shark!

Hey any chance you will let the Holiday special out on DvD?  I don't think it is any worse then the prequels or cartoons you have put on DvD and I would buy it.

I find it amazing that I can often type correctly without looking at the kets at all.
