The MONDO Star Wars Poster Thread

MONDO regularly puts up limited edition posters related to Star Wars, and almost always the OT, and I’m always surprised they never get mentioned in here. They do Star Wars frequently enough that I think it deserves its own thread, for people that might want to collect them as they come out. They recently did a Tarkin that I thought was fantastic, but these two new ones are really tempting:

Good thread! I included Mondo stuff with my posters upload in the Covers section, but it appears I am behind the times. The ones by Olly Moss are still my favourite, particularly Star Wars and Empire. Can’t be arsed posting them right now… sorry  : )

I’m sure most people have seen them before, but anyway…

Oops, while I was languishing in an alternate dimension (long story!) I guess I missed the chance to order this one:

I’ve never been thrilled by Rilo Kiley’s character design, but I guess this is as impressive as a depiction of it could get.

And while I’m posting pics of posters it’s too late to get, here’s the Grand Moff Tarkin they did that I thought was really good. But I can’t imagine having the type of wall-space surplus that would allow putting the Tarkster up…

I think the idea is that they’re sort of variants of the same poster, which Mondo typically does, so the overlap is intentional.

Anyway, while I’m here, here’s the Luke profile-portrait by Mike Mitchell (“Red Five”)that started the present series. I like this one.

Mondo named this C-3PO one of its year’s best. I agree, and think it’s the best of Mitchell’s entire SW series so far:
