Regarding video footage I have: I don't think I have anything other than the two Raiders docs on NTSC VHS, so it looks like I don't have anything to contribute.

I'll certainly be keeping tabs on the project though, and keeping my eye out for anything else.

P.S. - Damn Best Buy and their "while supplies last/gone in 30 seconds" bonus DVDs!! I had no idea they even had an Indy bonus disc, and I bought my set from them!

P.P.S. - Double-damn Best Buy for never answering their phones. You'd think they didn't want to make any sales!!

Projects:
Return Of The Ewok and Other Short Films (with OCPmovie) [COMPLETED]

Shouldn't that read "The Lost Disc"?

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

Nice, baby hum.

I have great plans for this disk.

While it will include all the great footage and docs and whatnought you will be sending me, will also be adding a section on the DVD for Indiana Jones parodies that include Simpsons, Malcolm In The Middle, and others.

Photo Galleries and more.

If anyone has more footage/ideas/etc PLEASE dont hesitate to post

PS: Baby hum, check your inbox, I sent you two private messages. I have unlocked my private messages so you can PM me

I guess that makes this crowd the Raiders of the Lost Footage.

If you have the Indy DVDs, it features some material as DVD-ROM content including a cool animatic in Quicktime format for the opening of the ark sequence. Might be cool to include in the project if someone can convert it to DVD.

Other DVD-ROM content includes behind the scenes photos and poster galleries, but I think most of it is pretty small. They might be worth considering if you put together a gallery or something.

The bonus disc from best buy was NOT an edit of the original making of specials. It was actually the EPK for the first film and contains MANY different things.

I'm telling you, for things Indy, talk to me. Plus I have a copy. And no, most of you DON'T have it already. It wasn't released anywhere before.

I thinking extracting one/two things form the DVD like the Animation sequence but I dont think we should rip the docs.

I will be adding a totally new gallery from lots of the great pics from TheIndyExperience.com

I have talked to these guys at TheIndyExperience.com and they will be the main promoter of this project

That menu mockup looks great, did you do that rendition of the logo yourself? If not, or if so (either way), could I please have it? I've been looking for a nice version of the logo for a soundtrack cover I want to make.

And since I haven't posted in this thread before; Keep up the good work and great ideas, this disc/s will be great when finished.

Indy3, just to clarify, the animatics sequence and galleries are not on the DVDs themselves but available through the DVD's website via a DVD-ROM link. It'd just be cool to have as a set-top feature as opposed to something you have to turn on the computer and open in order to view.

Maybe the opening sequence from "Weird Al's" movie UHF could be on there as well.

I understand, I'll check it out and will incorporate it into the DVD

Awesome idea, I'll cut that scene out of the film and add it to the parody section of the dvd. Aswell adding the parody from the beginning of Rugrats:The Movie

You could open a real can of worms when you start including all the Raiders spoofs there have been... I personally like the Terry's Chocolate Orange TV commercial.

Yeah, I expected that but well I will try my best and choose the most popular.

Indy3,

If you could add the muppet babies parody that would be amazing

Episode 4: Raiders of the Lost Muppet - The babies must search the house after Animal gets lost playing hide and seek.
SONG: "Best Friends" which Rowlf, Gonzo, Skeeter and Scooter sing while they search a jungle Tarzan style, for Animal
ALSO: An Indiana Jones parody occurs when Kermit,Fozzie and Piggy find themselves in the "Basement of Doom". The parody would return in several different episodes.
[Available in Remisser's Christmas Gift, 190mb avi]

also

Episode 92: Muppet Babies - The Next Generation - A huge science fiction crossover
SONG: "The Future Is Counting On You"
ALSO: Ready for this? Okay we've got parodies of Star Wars, The Jetsons, Star Trek, Star Trek: the Next Generation (pre-DS9 days unfortunatly, darn!), Indiana Jones and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure all wrapped into one episode! The kids play several roles each ( Kermit for example plays George Jetson, Captain Kirk, Luke Skywalker and, of course, Indiana Jones)but don't worry, we're not the only ones who get confused)

Is there any way to do two versions of this disc - one with all of the parodies, and one without?

I could be alone here, but I'm only interested in the making of the films and all of the related adverts, commercials etc.., and not too keen on the parodies.

Not to rain on the parade or anything...

This is going to have to be a two disk set actually since when all the docs total up it wont fit on one DVD.

So the docs on one set and the bonus features like parodys and others in the other.

Also, the parodys arent going to fill alot of space up as they are only a minute or two long per video as of now I have five parodys down that I can include onto the DVD

Sounds good.
