I got a PM from TV's Frink once...does that count?
At least everyone here has heard of him. I have only heard of a couple of the people mentioned on this thread.

I've met Edward James Olmos, Billy Dee Williams, and George Takei thanks to Planet Comic-Con.
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.
In elementary school I went to school with Michelle Pfeiffer's kids. When I did a summer camp with her daughter, Michelle came along on a field trip. I began to excitedly tell other kids who she was, and she pulled me aside and said that she was there as her daughter's mother and would appreciate if I did not make a big deal of her celebrity status the future.
Needless to say, I cut it out. She was very nice about this, and I've always respected the way she approached it. She was just as graceful with adults if they brought up her career or asked for autographs at school functions.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
I've exchanged messages with The Amazing Atheist.
I think I posted in this thread awhile ago, back when I hadn't met anyone famous. In fact, 2013 is the first year I've actually met any famous people:
First, I'd like to point out that prior to this year I'd been to a couple of Springsteen concerts, and a Earth, Wind, and Fire + Chicago concert. I don't think that really counts, but for the sake of thoroughness I will point out that I saw The Who in concert this year. Similarly, I saw Jay Pharaoh perform a comedy set, and I was only a few rows back, so that was cool.
Getting a little bit closer to real meeting, I went to the RI Comic-Con this year. I didn't meet any of the famous people (I didn't have the balls to talk to them and not buy an autograph), but I saw, among others: Billy Dee Williams, Adam West, Burt Ward, Danny Glover, Ernie Hudson, Sam Jones, William Zabka and Martin Kove (of Cobra Kai fame), Vernon Wells (of Road Warrior and Commando fame), Scott Schwartz (of Christmas Story fame), Sarah Douglas and Jack O'Halloran (of Superman II fame), Glen Morshower (of everything fame), the guys who did Greedo, Bossk, those other two bounty hunters, the guy who was Dak Rattler (and Boba Fett in a scene?), the Aunt Beru that no one cares about, and Tim Rose (of it's a trap! fame). I'm definitely forgetting people. Also I got really close to C. Thomas Howell and was about to shake his hand but he turned away. And I walked really close by Phil Lamar so I could hear him talking.
Now onto the famous people I've actually met. I got to meet Will Forte after a screening of Nebraska and a Q&A. He's awesome. I also met Al Madrigal after he performed a set. He's cool too.

Maybe?
I met Heather Langenkamp this week at a convention. She was a truly wonderful lady -- incredibly friendly and eagre to strike up a conversation. She showed me an on-set photo of herself with Patricia Arquette that was taken during the filming of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, then she gave me an autographed photo of herself -- for free.
Then I woke up and realized it was all just a dream. >=(
I'm seeing William Shatner this Sunday!
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.
I saw William Shatner a couple months ago perform his show, "Shatner's World." It was great.
Pretty sure I saw Juliette Lewis at Trader Joe's last night.
I just got a comic autographed by Margot Kidder!
