I know I said I wasn't likely to join GMail, but I was invited by a friend at work and have joined. Not bad so far.

It's invitation-only e-mail hosted by Google that allows you 1GB of storage space plus search functionality and the ability to read your e-mails and their responses via threading just like a bulletin board. Kinda cool.
