Those angles are probably the images with and without the PIP in the corner, so I would assume that you wouldn't be able to view them full-screen.

but there is also a menu with options corresponding to the three alternate angles. When I click one by player tells me I've switched angles but nothing changes.

I don't think putting Jabba in is necessary at all.

1) His scene becomes redundant with the lines of dialogue moved from there to Greedo's scene

2) Jabba comes across as a pushover who isn't dangerous in the slightest

3) The tail ... oh Christ the tail ...

As I suggested back on page one the only way I can think of making the Jabba scene work is by changing the subtitles so he says something new (and if Jabba was colour and light corrected and someone sorted out that bleedin tail).

Harrison is very good in the scene and having Boba in there adds a certain something (it's a pain that Lucas seems to have Fett as more of an henchman to Jabba in ROTJ which in the round is compounded by his appearence here but....) away from that it's like he was saying "Ok you've got your last chance but look what's waiting for you if you screw up this time".

That's a lot of ifs and buts for a little more charming rascal but perhaps someone could pull it off as a mini-project which could be inserted in to edits by those who want to.

Jabba belongs in the bonus material.

But aside from that...

I like your effort to make Jabba like his puppet self in ROTJ.  The slobber is a nice touch.  It would be funny to see him toss a frog in his mouth as he is crawling out of frame.

could the tail be solved by maybe just having the scene focus on something else? like just cut to one of the goons or chewbacca for a second. the scream could get cut out.

but i agree with CHAINSAWASH, it really isnt such a great scene, and isn't necessary.

Not only the retarded tail and redundant dialogue, but also Han's just WAY to close to him in mos of the scene. He's like lying on him half the time, what are they gonna start doin makin out?

Maybe have Jabba arrive at the hangar as the Falcon blasts off, too late to snatch his prey?

He can even say: "I want that ship."

:p

Or he could shake his fist, and say, "Next time, Solo! NEXT TIME!!"

Or put a couple of big frogs in his cheeks and have him say "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse".

In asnwer to this posts main question:

Yes. We can add "Star Tours" to the DS battle, where it belongs.

I never liked this scene, how it abruptly cuts from Luke & Ben sitting at the table, then when comes back to the table, they're gone. It doesn't show any exhibition of them leaving the table.

I never noticed that giant mouse creature sitting by the table until now. It looks so forlorn, I feel sorry for it.

I noticed there are a few places in the battle of Yavin where Adywan either forgot or wasn't able to include the red flares on the back of some of the tie fighters. The most obvious that I could find being here:

Perhaps someone else could add red flares to the Tie Fighters missing them? I might even try to do it myself, if I get proficient video editing.

I don't like the way the Death Star explodes. Something that big doesn't just blow up into a plumb of fire. I break apart in big peices. I would like to see the Death Star explosion done more realistically. Don't have it blow up all at once. Maybe first have flames shooting out of it sporadically and then blow up and break apart in big pieces.

That reminds me... in the SE "extended Yavin Battle" CGI... all the X-wings have the markings for Red 2 (two hatch marks on the wings). Adywan fixed it so that it reflects the proper pilot, except in one major shot I noticed... where Luke is flying away from the TIE and is saying "I can't shake him" the next big shot we see two hatch marks when we should see five.

A minor change.

Anyway, somebody said we see Dave Prowse's eyes through the Vader mask eyes a lot in ANH. Got any shots of that? I can't imagine that's a problem. Everybody knew he had eyes, and the fact that he has human eyes is not really a big deal. The red eyes stand out more from the mask, and I don't think it's a big problem that the suit is completely different in each movie. It's stranger that Vader would wear the same identical mask and stuff for 25 years.

On the part of jabba. His voice is a very big problem to me. I tried my best to make his voice bigger but it is........ well see for yourselves

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjNrGgTuvXE

The only way to make jabba sound like the return of the jedi jabba is to have someone re dub his voice and lower pitch. I think they even doubled the tracks and made one a little lower than the other. Make him say words that are like what the ROTJ jabba would say. And for crying out loud can we give him his Hooo hoo hoo hooo ha ha ha ha ha laugh back.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Why are you worried about Jabba? That scene is completely ridiculous. Why would Jabba even go to Solo? It's completely out of character. It takes away the whole menacing factor he had.

I honestly think the scene had some potential. Though Lucas Films turned it into something comedic (i didn't laugh) but it has potential none the less.

The only thing I miss that has been removed for the Adywan version is the music from this shot:

Other than a few minor things I mentioned above, I think it's almost perfect. I would like to re-insert this shot back into the Adywan version. All I have for access to that shot right now is the '04 DVD and I don't think I can color correct it to exactly fit the rest of the color correction.
