The "101 Ways to Improve Off-Topic" Thread

Off-topic’s been coasting on fumes for ages now. What do you feel is needed to refuel the tank?

As for myself, I feel we need to:

1. Bring back Bingowings

2. Bring back darth_ender

3. Ban DuracellEnergizer

Quit my job.

Let’s get a petition going to get Frink’s boss to fire him.

Then we need to track down VFP, C3PS, etc. and convince them to post again.

JEDIT: And of course Bingowings and Ender. I’m probably missing some people, but that should be a good start.

I suspect VFP has passed away if I’m truthful. CP3S was a worthy opponent but he apparently doesn’t care about this place enough to drop by too often. Bingowings may yet forgive darth_ender for his non-trangressions. And ender already has told you all, he’s always around. He just seldom comments 😉

4. Quit talking about how lame off topic is in hopes of improving. We all knew a kid in high school who would be perfectly likeable if they weren’t so down on themselves and putting themselves down. Is this analogy far fetched? Possibly. Does it still apply? Conceivable.

Sadly I think you’re right. I had another suspicion based on a PM exchange we had, and it’s still possible, but I would have expected him to come back by now if it was that. Or not, who knows?
