Hey all. I am about to begin my own edits for all six films. So many great edits out there and so my great ideas. You have all provided, um, inspiration and I should admit that I will probably be outright ripping some of you off But I will give all due credit. I was wondering what I should add to my current set up to get the most professional results.

I have a Mac G4 dual (1.25 processors, 2 gigs of Ram, superdrive)
48 track Pro Tools le/hd hybrid recording studio
I am purchasing Final Cut Studio and was wondering what other software you FCP users have to assist with rotoscoping, etc. Some things I plan to do is completely eliminate 3P0 in Ep 1 (and possibly most if not all of Ep 2). Anaking making 3P0 bugs me. I also plan to eliminate references to Chewbacca in Ep3 because it felt so tacked on in an attempt to tie the OT to the prequels. I have an extensive list of all the changes I want to do, most of which has been mentioned or done before. I have the studio and access to voice talent and audio effects that will allow me to redub Jar Jar, Nemoidians, and the droids. I want to use dialog from Liam's and Christopher Lee's body of work. I also loved the idea of restructuring Jedi with Dagobah scenes in the beginning. Anyway, lots to list, I mainly wanted to find out what everyone else was using equipment wise.

Thanks for a great forum and for all the fantastic edits floating around out there. I can finally watch the prequels and Jedi without CRINGING!
