NTSC is the version.

However, the sound on tape two has degraded, its got a lot of noise..picture looks great though..

Any help with sound fixing would be great.. tape one is awesome...

Dang, I was hoping the 2 disc Supergirl movie would also make it in. Damnit, I shouldn't have passed it up a couple of months ago.

Check out this release schedule for all superman DVDs. It shows that a new Supergirl DVD is being released in Q4 this year.

Bad News!!

I have used Adobe Audition and tried to fix the soundtrack w/ no results....

With the Donner cut of Superman II, will there be any need for the RIC cut? I mean, will probably all of the scenes used in the Restored International Cut also be in the Donner cut?

After buying the boxset, getting an NTSC copy of the Superman: The Movie International Salkind Version, and Supergirl (I wonder if the new Supergirl DVD will be the same as the Limited Edition 2 disc release?) and Superman III TV version, that's pretty much everything, right?

Then all we need is a US Theatrical cut of Supergirl.

What are the exact DVD Tech Specs, and projected release date on this?

I'd love to compare your version with my own personal NTSC T.V. recording.

Just curious who has this and what the status is?

Are the commercials being yanked out of the edit?

Is anybody going to go the route of the RIC (which I finally saw last week) and add the "new" elements of this source to a store-bought NTSC theatrical cut? Or is it just going to be a straight transfer?

Either way, I'm eagerly awaiting this, cause I don't get the vibe we're getting the Intl. Salkind Edition in the mega boxed set this fall (I hope I'm wrong).

have been working on the Highlander II Extended Cut. We finally finished the European Cut a few months ago! As far as Superman - I did finally create a clean copy but I didn't mail it off!! I will try this week!!! Since i have been married time has been cut down, lots!!! Kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great to hear that this project has progressed. Particularly since it now looks almost certain that an extensive deleted scenes section for STM will not be included as part of the 14 disc collection.

This is a real shame. Fair enough that Warner weren’t interested in restoring the complete Extended Cut, but at the very least they could have restored some of the better scenes, (eg the extra footage of Clark's journey to the fortress and the shot of Supes waiting for the missile). This footage should be archived, rather than being left to rot.

Anyways Mitch how did STM turn out?
