My 2c about the original Jabba: as much as I could love the idea (“You are a wonderful human being!”), we see him in Episode VI (and Episode I as well), so following a logical path, it can’t be human.
Unless some wizard put a spell on him after EP I, and then he managed to return to his original form before EP VI - even if, I must admit, if I can chose, I’d prefer to be a not-so-handsome human instead of Pizza-the-Hut or something… 😄
Back on topic: if you want to partecipate in the project, we could join the force and share our works.

im going to go with clean then color, id really like to see where this recolor attempt goes with more refinement
im wondering for the sandstorm scene if you can reach out to people (say amateur voice actors on youtube or something) to try to recreate the audio using the the script… maybe not a very popular idea but maybe something to keep in mind

Don’t know, there are so many behind the scenes rough material that I’d like to include, but they often look “out of place” when inserted in the films…

For the cantina scene, I would like to add for sure Han’s “girlfriend”, when they kiss, and when Luke and Ben meets him, as I said previously, the “nice muzzles” shot!

Lost the chance to buy the needed brand new used desktop PC to advance with the job… also, as I usually do, I left this behind to refresh my mind, and meanwhile I learned new techniques that could probably be useful for this project as well.
Now I’m looking for another PC, powerful enough but relatively cheap at the same time.

It’s not impossible to take a b&w photo and colorize it, you just need a reference to go by, that, and a lot of time.
