Does anyone know the name of the song that is has been used continuously as the "arabian" theme on every movie or show known to man?
"I don't mind if you don't like my manners. I don't like them myself. They're pretty bad. I grieve over them during the long winter evenings."

That's pretty vague...Could you give me an example of a place where it's used, so I can at least watch it and get on the same page?

You mean the one in Lawrence of Arabia?

I would go to JWfan.net and ask them. That's Neil S Bulk's site.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

I'd try the Lawrence of Arabia theme.

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

The Lawrence of Arabia theme is close, very close, but its not the one I'm thinking of. Its kind of a mish-mash between that and Arabian nights from Aladdin.

And I am pretty sure it is from the 18th or 19th century.
