So i held it in my hands tonight at work and checked it out. Other than the fact that the box art is ugly as sin and wont match the others in the collection, it's the 6th season and prolly one of their best!

so then i came home too see what Fox thinks of everyone bashing they're cover art and i came across these..



not sure if they're fake or not but i know fox has already asked people to pull these images off their forums (if this causes and controversy Jay feel free to take them off)
just figured you guys would want to see them.

They also confirm that there is a flyer inside the set itself saying something about "for those anal retentive nerds who wish to keep all their DVDs matching on their shelves... blah blah blah.. basically they send you a slipcase that matches the previous seasons as long as you mail or fax them a copy of your upc and reciept.

So ya.
Just wanted to share that with those who want this to match their other seasons like i do.
I would hate to see threads popping up in here about this at a later date, so just a heads up for those who want to send away!

people are saying however that the phone number on there was printed wrong... they said its 1 888.

Doesn't season 6 contain "Free Hat", which makes fun of Lucas' changes of the SW films?

If so, I gotta add this to my netflix.

unfortunatly nobody knows what it looks like right now...
but im sure someone will post pictures when they get theirs...

I dunno, I was never really a fan of the Simpsons, or South Park for that matter. I just didn't think they were funny.

Family Guy is where its at right now. Hopefully they'll end it when it has ran its course.

I'm with DAYV. The Simpsons did have a consistent run for a few years, but is scattershot a lot of the time. Family Guy is consistently scattershot.

I actually haven't decided if I'm picking up the Simpsons, s6, or not. I've got 1-5, but I never watch them. I'm almost thinking of stopping just because there are so damn many seasons and I don't know if I want to spend any more money on it when I can just watch them on TV like I have been for years.

As for Family Guy, I'm a devotee. I love the show. Some of it does suck like the ending of last night's episode. But, for every bad one, you get the spoof of the a-Ha video to make up for it. I'll take it. Besides, you can't top Brian and Stewie.

And, yes, Seinfeld went nine seasons.

1. Never got into the Simpsons, but that doesn't mean I won't watch it.

2. I've seen my share of Southpark, but I don't watch that as much anymore.

3. I enjoy Family Guy. I've seen the entire first-run of the show probably 4 times thanks to Adult Swim (along with Futurama).

Before it came back on the air Family Guy was great. The new eps that have come back on, well have underwhelmed me. It seems like they're trying to do the LOL humor every 10 min where as before they did it about once a ep or even an ep and a 1/2.

The Simpsons was great up until S8 or so, then it's just gotten tiresome. It has a few eps a year that are LOL funny, but for the most part I might only laugh once per ep if that. I really believe TV shows hit their stride (for the most part) around S7 if they go that long or longer. It seems once they go past that they just rehash stuff over and over. Recent examples were The X-Files, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, and even Friends got a bit tiresome.
