OMG! Is that a open Matte print I see? The Blu-ray has a aspect ratio of 1.85:1, so your print at least has the benefit of extra picture information.

Yes. When projected projectionist must give the format of 1.85: 1 as wished by the director. Sorry my English I use google translator 😃 Sometimes it is seen microfone or somewhere a piece of canvas 😃)

Thanks. Of course I’m going to do a movie 😃 Scanned movie I do it myself and than I make a movie. I can even offer but I pay for rent 😦 And the audio track is in the Czech language.

Well that sucks about the audio. 😦 But if someone has this print and short circuit’s print remastered and color correct it plus have the original audio tracks it would then blow the currant blu rays out of the water.

this is an old topic, but extra picture isnt always a “benefit”. The filmmakers never intended for that area to be seen. Its obvious even in these shots. Lens vignetting is visible, and there is odd framing for the actors.
regardless, this is a cool thing to see.

That’s a great piece to preserve - looking forward to it. Regarding extra image (that’s supposed to be matted)… it can always be regarded as unique behind the scenes material 😃

Can you clean it up color correct etc. Also does anyone have short circuit 1’s film print because the currant blu ray for that also sucks?

I’m sorry but my friend did wrong sample. I redid sample but still dailymotion a cropped image. If you download the sample so the format is correct 1.85: 1 and no 16: 9.
