Video Codecs for Editing in Windows 7

Hi,

I've wanted to return to working on some preservation and fan edit projects, but I am having a problem. The last time I did any work on these projects, I was working with my old Windows XP computer.  Now, I am using Windows 7, and I can't seem to locate a good lossless video codec for me to edit with.  Seems that Huffyuv is no longer supported, and Lagarith is problematic when doing multiple cuts, speed correction, etc.  Editing with raw non-compressed AVI files is taking up all my hard drive space, and much too limiting.

What codes are people using with Windows 7 or 8 for their projects these days?

I'm editing mostly in Premier CS4 on a Windows 7 64bit desktop.

Thanks for any help.

Huffyuv works in Win7. You need to use all 32-bit programs.

I use the Huffyuv-MT variant.
