Hi new here, not sure if this site has a search function, I don’t see one, but was curious if there were a set of subtitle .SRT files available for SPEAKERS on the audio commentary tracks? i.e. the LD, 2004 or Archival Commentaries to see who is speaking? That’s a lot of titles to manually add, so wanted to check to see if this might have done, perhaps by Project Threepio?

Project Threepio has subs for the film soundtrack only. If there are commentary subs, and they’re not included with some preservation, then they’re not stored in any easy central location I know of. They may still exist though–I just don’t know about them.
It’s a fantastic idea! One I might be interested enough in to do myself if I ever get time.
(Meaning if I’m ever willing to pull myself away from all the other projects I have going on.)
