You really should - whether you prefer the OT music or not, the way the PT disc is edited is much more concise and flows better. Here's my theory:
JW originally did Star Wars. We all know that. It was a complete work. Then, unexpectedly, he was brought in to do a sequel. Now he has to expand on a work that was originally complete, with the prospect of doing one more after this. So he, to the best of his ability, makes ESB's score a continuation of SW's score, leaving it open enough to leave room to expand on for a probable third installment.
Then when he's brought in to do the PT, from the beginning he knows he'll be making 3 scores, and with this in mind, he makes the first score in such a way that it can be easily expanded upon, et cetera. Which is why the PT disc in this set flows better - the score was originally done with 3 in mind, not one.
