EDIT:

The droid image is from a test thing I did a while back. During the invasion sequence there will be shots of Naboo civilians being massacred by the battle droids. This both strengthens the droids as a serious threat as well as makes the Separatists a group to be feared.

Still no ETA on the update. Sadly can’t devote much time to the project right now.

Episode II would have nothing to do with Clones, as the Clone Wars aren’t happening. It would probably start with an Acclamator Star Destroyer in space which is suddenly attacked and destroyed by droids. This would kick off the action of the plot, with Obi Wan investigating the last known location of the ship, which turns out to be Geonosis. Meanwhile Anakin is hanging out with Beru and Owen on Tatooine, he learns that his mom has been captured, that whole thing happens. Then the Geonosis Colosseum scene would happen except without 200 Jedi showing up. Obi Wan would finally confront Dooku, and Dooku escapes again. Anakin and Padme marry on Tatooine.

Episode III would start with the chancellor being captured by Dooku as a means to end the war. Anakin and Obi Wan rescue him, kill Dooku. The war is over. Then the rest of the movie would have Palpatine influencing Anakin without needing to mention his wife. I would also fix the bit of continuity with the OT where Obi Wan says “I haven’t gone by the name Obi Wan since oh before you were born.” by adding a timeskip after Anakin turns of a few months probably.

I am confused as to why Anakin turns to the dark side in your version of the prequels. If he is not afraid his wife will die and the war is already over, what would motivate him to turn to the dark side?

Snooker is now the Adywan of the Prequel triolgy.

There’s very little in common. Just about all of Adywan’s changes were technical. He didn’t really touch the story. Snooker is heavily reworking the story.

The people in the Clone armor will never be explicitly called clones. If you want them to be clones, your headcannon is just as good as mine.

Do keep in mind that that first post is probably way off from what will eventually be my cut.

Anakin turning for love is probably the most possibly compelling, but the execution in the film is awful. As soon as Palps is like “Oh yeah by the way I can’t save your wife, the one reason why you just joined me” Anakin would have pulled his saber out and killed the guy. I feel like if Anakin is slowly corrupted by Palpatine, being told that the Council are untrustworthy and whatnot, overtime his takeover won’t be for love of his wife but for his love of the Government. This is more in line with the Vader we see in the OT, calm and collected while enforcing the will of the Empire.

But my Sith edit is years away, let’s not get too carried away with specifics this early on 😛

EDIT: Also P.S. my Clones edit will be completely different from how I initially spoke of it. Just wait and see 😉

I’ve already made a similar shot of Dooku’s hologram on the ship, though I haven’t animated him. My problem is getting the Queen to say her Padme’s AotC lines onscreen. What are you doing with the Queen’s lines?

Don’t worry, this is probably the only shot with CG-Dooku.

The queens head from the original Nemoidian conversation will be plastered on a production image of the specific black dress she wears in this scene.

I’m solving the whole queens head thing by having most of this conversation take place in Dookus ship, therefore I can just have her audio come in from offscreen and show Dooku’s reaction.

Trust me, having her speak only offscreen is not a good idea. It just comes off as really awkward.

It’ll only be one or two lines. Most of her lines will be onscreen (most of her dialogue from the episode II scene won’t be used anyways)
