Runtime doesn’t match up with well anything. I get the feeling this thread is about to go crazy from here on.
Master Ady I have come across something very close to where you reside. It’s a very large thing that belongs on the swamp planet, and I can’t find the photographs I took of it at Eerthig Hall a few days ago.

You didn’t ask a question, you made a statement. Which makes no sense in the context. The reason people get at you for asking questions is because you are very impatient. I went through and saw one of your posts from Dec 31st and then on Jan 10 you asked if this project was dead. You don’t need an update every second of the day… But when is that edit of yours coming out? You know, the one where Vader Wan everything like such as? I’m looking forward to it

It was a reasonable question. We’re all a bit braced for annoying or unnecessary, but no point in reacting condescendingly to legitimate posts.
Except it’s not really a legitimate post. Ady has already put out a few trailers. At this point, when he’s so close to a finished product, his priority is obviously completing the project, not stitching together another trailer.
Keep in mind that the purpose of a trailer is to attract an audience to a film and provide a preview of the most interesting aspects of said film. That clearly isn’t necessary at this stage; he’s already got an audience and we already know what he’s doing. Now we just wait. I really don’t understand why that’s so difficult for people, especially when they’ve been reminded again and again that that’s where we are. We need to be patient. End of story.

To be clear, we WILL be getting a Saga Trailer, as he promised a while ago. But it’s obviously not the priority. Cutting a trailer is a lot of work, more than editing the movie, I’d think. We already had at least one “final” ESBR trailer, I wouldn’t expect another!

The Saga trailer will be further down the line. I did say at one point that i would release the saga trailer shortly before ESB:R’s release, but things change. Finishing ESB:R is my priority at the moment, so any sort of trailer is out of the question right now

In your defense, I think it was one of your more comprehensible posts (in terms of grammar). Missing periods and capitalization, but I’ve of course seen worse. Better than 99% of the tweets in existence.

They can say all they’d like. I wish Ady was less modest and would let us donate for a top of the line laptop rather than one that just meets his needs.
Honestly, I don’t know his living situation, but if he has any space for it, I think it would be best if we all just pitched in for a work shed where he can build and film.

So happy you said this. It’s infuriating to read the tweets of my high school peers. It’s just a blob of thoughts with zero puncation and awful grammar.

Any word on how the march to 350 is going? I’m not sure if it can be tracked, but it looked like he was getting some good donations in the short amount of comments I read. I honestly hope he gets more than 350 so he can get more than what he needs - we all know he deserves a quality rig.

He already has a quality rig, this is a secondary machine for monitoring recreated shots for comparison, which is why he’s only asking for £350 to cover it.
