If it is the Yoda dance number, why in the hell would anyone want to discuss that?

Its yoda break dancing or something with clone troopers noding to the beat. Rather odd as an easter egg.

It appears to be on anoTher very well known site. So if it's ok For them to post it, shouldN't it be ok to post it on here?

Well see this is the way things work. TFN will not host the video themselves or (knowlingly) allow a user to post a link to the video. So what they do instead is post a story about another site that is hosting the video, which is the link that THX-1138 also provided here. TFN gets LFL's attention faster than any other site on the net, and in turn the site hosting the video gets LFL'd:

It's in this site's best interest to stay out of these legal battles as much as we can.

However, there are certain other sites out there that post stuff like this regardless...with the help of some of their...ahem...favorite users.

Uh, yeah, the egg is old news. (haha, before the disk is even retail ) If anyone wishes to see it, just pop in your xpdvd and on the options menu of the first disk, type 1138 (some remotes may require a 10+ button to enter the "11") on your remote. Pause slightly between each number, and enjoy! It's pretty lame, but eggs are cool nonetheless.

Why would LFL want to contaminate the official release of the last installment of a galaxy far far away with some soon to be forgotten pop tune video.... sad. I'd rather have all the product tie-in commercials on the official release. If your going to shill, might as well wade in it.

As a huge Yoda fan, the video is just...sad. It definitely seems like a huge waste.

Because that entire company has their head up their collective ass. They really think shit like this is cute. When most everyone else thinks it is what it is. Pathetic. I'll be waiting until the Hollywood Video 5 for $20 bin on this POS.

And to think we still have TV shows to look forward to from these creative genius'.

Lucasfilm's "kind request" would make for interesting reading.

It's probably just their cut and paste cease and desist that they have ready to send out to anyone. I used to have one on my hd, but I can't find it now.

No doubt, but I find the "kindly request" part hilarious.

For the same reason Disney insists on ruining its releases of old classic movies with crap like songs performed by modern pop artists.

I was thinking the same exact thing. Blockbuster now even lets you rent something, and then buy the same copy like 2 weeks later. I don't think I paid full retail price for the prequels so far. Why start now?
We don't have enough road to get up to 88.
