Help: Looking for... Return of the Jedi Fan Edit - with Sebastian Shaw at the end?

I was wondering if someone had done a fan edit of 'Jedi, but with Sebastian Shaw at the end? To be honest, if no-one has then I might do it myself!
Everything else is ok, but its this scene that bugs the hell out of me.

EDIT: Ignore me, on the same page is someone asking the same question.

I know of three fan edits that fix this problem:

Ocpmovie's Classic Edition
ADigitalMan's ROTJ and ROTJ 2.0
and
My own ROTJ edit, which borrows heavily from the above

Ocpmovie's version removed almost all of the Special Edition stuff, making it almost exactly like the original version.
Adigitalman's takes a more experimental route, with a custom ending and Jabba rock song.
Mine uses a lot of both, to get an OT/SE hybrid, without any other creative changes. (Btw, in Ocpmovie's edit, he fixes the pink and green lightsabers. Mine does too, borrowing from his work.)

Hope this helps!

Cheers HAL, do you have yours available as a torrent?

No, but hopefully will in the future. My set was just completed last week, and the first set should be shipped off tomorrow!

But no, distribution plans are sketchy at present.

All this talk of re-editing movie fills me with a lot of excitement HAL and I wouldnt mind doing my own versions.

What software do you use?
Do you rip all the individual chapters and then with that in Adobe Premier Pro 1.5? (or equivalent)

Also...is the dialogue and sound effects on different channels? Iv heard stories where people have got rid of Jar Jars dialogue and replaced it with an Alien language. Is it possible to just extract the audio? I would imagine if not, then any scene without music would be fine, but with music and not to mention sound effects it would be nigh on impossible.

If its possible to do all this then im gonna join the growing legions on editors!

Awesome! Once you get good at it, it's really exciting. Adigitalman has a great how-to thread that covers all the bases:

Adigitalman's How-To

And for the record, once my edits are in the air, you and anyone are free to use any bits and pieces from it that you like. (I say this because mine borrows heavily from other edits, and because I encourage any spark of fan editing!)
