I like the Ewoks.

I like Ewoks, too.

Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Yum, num!

I needed that laugh. Long work day.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

How do they keep from falling off the blade? It's a lightsaber, not a shish kabob! ;)

Where were you in '77?

I'm sure there's an EU book where it is explained how little Anakin added a BBQ mode to his lightsaber.

...He deserved to be a big star from that moment on but sadly that hasn't happened yet.

It's because he doesn't take anything seriously. He turned out to be quite the Joker.

Mark Hamill was doing a lot of stage work after Empire, during Jedi, and a few years after that. He felt more at home in Broadway than in Hollywood. He was Mozart in Amadeus on Broadway, and was also considered for the part in the film, but a studio executive turned him down because he didn't want Luke Skywalker to be in the movie.

In film, he was trying to get more parts that were different from Luke Skywalker. He probably got offered hundreds of shitty sci fi film roles in attempts to cash in on his name. He did voice work as early as the 70's, so his transition from stage to The Joker was an easy one. I'd say he's had the career he wanted.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Probably tied with the 2nd Godfather film for being my favorite film of all time, I love the constant shifts from planets, the battle scenes with the Ewoks and the Empire, but most of all the tension between the father and son duel of ROTJ Luke and Darth Vader. The tension is very strong between the two and the Emperor goading Luke on just adds to those scenes. I always get a little choked up even now seeing Vader die in Luke's arm. I love that film more than ANH and ESB.

Being 10 years old on opening day and seeing Luke catch the lightsaber.  And it was GREEN!!! Awesome.
