Once again, excellent--I don't believe any of this footage has been seen outside of wherever it originally appeared in. The miscellaneous ANH clips are especially unique; i know most of the ANH footage was shot MOS but a few instances they did indeed use sync-sound--i take it that silent soundtrack is intentional? I only ask because i really would like to hear what Lucas is discussing with the pilot he is directing (Lucas directing an actor? My god!).

Damn, man, this is the kind of stuff that makes me real glad I found this forum. Thanks so much for this stuff! It amazes me that I continue to be fascinated by this madness.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

This madness (that ReverendBeastly speaks of) is truly a worldwide sicness .... and I love it!

LOL! In reflecting (in his memoirs) upon a meeting w/ a young lad, who stated that he had seen 'SW' 100 x's, Sir Alec Guinness writes: "Looking into the boys eyes, I thought I detected little star-shells of MADNESS beginning to form and I guessed one day would explode ..." LOL!

I wonder from what presentation is the Daniels bit from?

The Daniels Elstree footage is from a 1994 convention in Cologne.

Docking bay footage is from a special US edition of The Phantom Menace

Kenobi in corridor is from an Alec Guinness documentary shown on British TV about 2 or 3 years ago.

I'd love to know what all the fuss is about.

Can anybody reupload these to http://massmirror.com

Then they'll always be available.

Thanx.

That clip of Lucas in docking bay 94 was also used in the Legacy doco on the History channel.

I have a copy of the Mark Hamill doco on it's way. I will update you with any further unseen footage. Although my guess is that there will only be stills and common footage.

Hi,
2 of the clips I posted are still on rapidshare. Rest was probably deleted due to missing requests.
I have the others on my harddrives back home. I may upload them again when Im back home in a few weeks time.

However, all links I posted were downloaded many times (some several hundred times I believe). So rest assured: They will never be lost again.

Get them there and upload it to wherever you like.

Wacthing the web doc on the episode III dvd about Ewan McGregor becoming Obi Wan, there were two behind the scenes footage of Alec Guiness that I didn't remember seeing before. One was from the cantina, the other when he deactivated the tractor beam. Have those been released before?

Take back the trilogy. Execute Order '77

You're right, that is a unique shot of Alec in the cantina. Thanks!. The shot of him after he's deactivated the tractor beam is actually a shot from Star Wars!

I'm not sure how I missed the Ben Kenobi footage before, but it is awesome.

There was lots of both him and Han and Luke sneaking around the Death Star in the script and the rough cut.

86 INT. DEATH STAR - MAIN HALLWAY

Several Imperial officers walk through the wide main passageway. They pass several stormtroopers and a robot similar to Threepio but with an insect face. At the far end of the hallway, a passing flash of Ben Kenobi appears, then disappears down a small hallway. His appearance was so fleeting that it is hard to tell if he was real or just an illusion. No one in the hallway seemed to notice him.
