"Star Trek: The Motion Picture Mega Set" to leave drydock soon!
We just got a new AUDIO source for "Star Trek: The Motion Picture Special Longer Version".
This was very important, as our Laserdisc source was showing signs of "Disc Rot" in sections. The audio is now being processed for optimum sound reproduction to keep faithful to the original 2.0 stereo mix, but yet enhanced to sound better then it ever had on any of the past VHS or laser releases of the "Special Longer Version".

Sidenote: I'm rather annoyed with Paramount. Newer pressings of the films don't include the DVD foldout inserts anymore. What gives?

Can anyone point me to a place where I can download the Star Trek movies as HDTV captures? I already have TMP, TUC and FC, but I'm still missing the others. BIT-HDTV doesn't have them anymore, and there seems to be nothing on the newsgroups!

the theatrical cut of twok for instance in HD.
HDnet had some of them as one point but you need to be a member.
are we going to get the 8 mm digest version of the motion picture as an extra feature on your project fanfiltration?
the disussion of trading and optaining HD versions of films capped off off HDTV that are not on blu ray or HD dvd are not to belong on these forums as i understand so i will apologize for my above post, lol.
still other than the trek movies and star wars id also kill for raiders of the lost ark in HD.
speaking of star trek and the wrath of khan i wish i could find those deleted scenes from the visual presskit in good quality where spock tells kirk that kirstie allies character saavik is half romulan. and has an alternate ending to the movie.

i believe that it was either trek III or IV that was the first simon and shuster audiobook abridgement.

The audio book read along for "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" will be part of my mega set release. The only problem with it is that it's not the original actors, it a re-do with a new cast of voice actors and very short and basic.

This project is still about 2 months away. Please do your edit. My work right now is on the letterbox edition of the Special Longer Version that was never released in anything but pan and scan. Was trying to get that done first, but I keep having set backs. I would love to see your version.
