Hey guys! I’m fairly new to originaltrilogy, but I’m into graphic design, so I made some Blu Ray designs to share! These include the slip-in covers (front, back and spine), disc labels, and one-sided inserts. I wanted the covers to emphasis Luke’s journey, so I used iconic stills from each movie, where Luke is looking at something, with his back to the viewer. I also pixelated these images for a stylistic effect. The back cover also emphasizes Luke’s journey with quotes from various figures, along with their lightsabers. The insides (disc labels and inserts) use black and white exclusively, with a minimalist approach, while showcasing important supporting character’s in Luke’s story. A few disclaimers, the covers may not fit perfectly in every blu ray case, since there isn’t a true standard in the case sizes, so a little bit of shaving may be required to make them fit. Also, the discs look really sloppy, but that outer edge is merely there as a buffer zone in case the printer is slightly off. This prevents white slivers on the inside ring and outer rim. Also, if you want to get the most out of each sheet, use the “multiple designs per sheet” folder to print multiple disc labels and inserts.
