Is this George Lucas' best work?

Probably not, but THIS is actually part of what inspired Sofia Coppola to make LOST IN TRANSLATION.
And I dance. And I sing.
And I'm a monkey, in a long line of kings.

It certainly explains a lot; I really hope that actors on the set of the PT weren't imitating his style of line delivery.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

You never know. He did say in a recent interview that the acting in AOTC is "intentionally bad" perhaps that was the plan all along.

The acting is suppose to be stupid and childish. The whole point is to show how such behavior can lead to disaster. People complain about the acting of Jedi to be wooden but thats because Jedi are trained not to show emotion. Thats like saying the acting of the Terminator is wooden. The acting in the prequals is fine.

But the Jedi draw there power from emotions so it makes no sense for them to be that way.

Yeah, what happened to Obi Wan saying "Let go of your emotions"?

So in a way, you and GL are co-workers

regarding the acting thing, I don't really care as most of the SW acting is bad (though Portman and Jackson are really bad) I'm just going by what GL said that it was intentionally bad.

the only acting i have a problem with is yes Sam Jackson and Hayden... Hayden just at some points though... whines wayyy to much...

I didnt mind Nat all that much... they should have left the scene at her house in the movie though... where they have dinner with her parents...
I think anyway..

i didnt find it suitable anyway...
i wanted to see an Anakin who instead of whining would be a little bit more dark and threatening...
