I hate that it takes over three hours for me to upload a video to YouTube.

it used to be more enjoyable, lets put it that way. It used to be the Conservatives and I could disagree respectfully. Sadly, we can't do that anymore. I feel like that conservatives think I am a silly dumb moron, not to mention, a socialist, statist, and leftist nutcase. What happened last night was the result of anger that had been building in me for a long time. I've had enough of debating both Ferris and Xhonzi. They don't listen to me nor respect me.

Joss got offered to reboot in 2009, but passed because some people do things right the first time.

I'm not a Buffy fan, but I'm definitely against things being officially reworked without the original artist's blessings (see: American version of Spaced, mercy killed).

Fanedits aren't new commercial ventures based on a living artists work, most people will never of heard of them and they don't lose any money for the original artist.

I must confess a bit of hypocrisy on my part as I'm a big fan of the reworked Battlestar Galactica and Caprica both of which were done largely against the wishes of Glen Larson (though he was an executive producer and did make a few farthings from them).

It's fair to say though that the original Galactica's fanbase had sunk enough to pull it off and the people involved were already established professionals.

This is like Star Wars Episode VII being written by and starring some unknown but fresh faced person who didn't have much time for films but rather liked Star Wars and sent in a script treatment to 20th Century Fox with George first hearing about it in Variety (ok so that doesn't sound too bad).
