 (Edited)

i REALLY didnt want to steal ADM’S thunder, but this passed inspection with flying COLORS,PHSYCO DAYV has the DL source discs being sent his way later this week,so DAYV watch for them and let me know that you get them, but I was informed by the guy i have gotten to make case and disc art for ADM’s releases,he will not release any more for awhile,he doesnt like to be 1 upped everytime he releases something,so i will be keeping these for myself, unless ADM decides to release them himself,or Sean gives me the go ahead,so here is what it looked like, and GOD DAMN it prints up very nice,so I hope someone else can make some covers for this and possibly future ADM releases, sorry guys to have to tell you this, but when someone puts all that HARD work into these, and then on the VERY same day an alternate is released,i can see where a guy would get a little upset.
sorry for the rant
DJ

This is awesome! How do I get a copy?

Does anyone know if there is a new Halloween II DVD in the works? ie: with the TV footage, deleted scenes etc. This year is the 25th anniversary, but so far I have heard squat!

They're shortly releasing new SEs for Halloween 4 & 5 and finally getting that documentary out there - but Halloween 2 and Halloween 3 are currently owned by different companies I think.

Yeah, Universal still owns H2. So, I don't think we'll be seeing a new SE any time soon unfortunately. How about III? Do Anchor Bay still own the DVD rights, or not?

I am not really sure about three. I think it's Anchor Bay.

How about Rob Zombie writing/directing the new Halloween film? What do you think? I read that it is going to be a remake, or a re-telling or something.

rob zombie will give the series a very much needed kick up the arse and hopefully treat us fans to something quite original.

As for Halloween III; I was under the impression that Anchor Bay has it still, but I can't be sure. I can understand why they skipped it and gave 4 and 5 the DiviMax treatment though. After all, there wouldn't be too many people that would buy a Special Edition of Halloween III (Sadly, I would though).

Let's hope that Rob Zombie does a decent job of reinventing it. I will always be a fan of the original, but it would be nice to see how they could 'reinvent' the original.

"Halloween: Hell and Horror in Haddonfield
The Whole Bloody Story of the Night HE Came Home
PANSY ALERT: This movie still scares the piss out of me. Didn't stop me from taking on the challenge.

Dark_Jedi wanted a version of Halloween and Halloween II that flowed seamlessly as one film. Even though I had both films in my collection, I put off this edit for a long time due to the pansy alert you read above. Once I committed to the project, I started with the official Extended Edition of I, that includes the shot-for-TV additions AND all the graphic violence and nudity. They don't hurt the film in my judgement. Right where the credits roll, I spliced the movie. Two problems ... the audio was in the middle of the Halloween theme and the second movie starts with a reprise of the ending events, with a synth-heavy Halloween theme playing after Loomis' "You don't know what death is" line and the opening credits for II.

Fortunately, the video was easy to cut around and it became an issue of the audio. Enter creative liberties. By running the closing credits' music over the scene of Loomis in the front yard and The Shape in the back yard, not only do they time perfectly to end when Loomis hooks back up with the sheriff, but this great synth drone from H2 mixes in perfectly when Loomis realizes Michael is still on the loose after being shot. It gives the scene a much more ominous presence.

I would have used the extended edition of H2 if a similar official widescreen release existed. But it doesn't, so H2 is only the theatrical cut.

Then, at the end, I simply ran both sets of closing credits over looped editions of the closing theme(s).

I never did like the "Mr. Sandman" closing of H2, but it is part of the film. So I decided to make it available as the default audio option. But the real jewel was re-using the closing music from H1 as the ending for H2. It ends the film with the Halloween theme that Carpenter himself did, and it lets us hear Michael's breathing through the mask as we watch his body burn. This also sets up the sequels in typical slasher-flick style.

In the end, you see the entire story of what happened in Haddonfield, Il. on October 31, 1978 until dawn the following morning. It takes about 3 hours 8 minutes wo watch, including credits. If it scares the bejeesus out of you, then you share my dread. Just don't let the Boogeyman get you! Muwahahahahahhahaha!"

It seems alot of people would rather have the DVD5 version,so this is the one I will upload, but there is a DVD9 also.
Hope you ALL enjoy this as much as I have, this is very well done,GREAT work ADM,and thanks again for taking my request.

These sound very interesting. Could you please more details? Especially H2 Ultimate Cut!

Halloween 2 - The Ultimate Cut
Using the additional scenes from the TV version. The Ultimate Cut blends these scenes into the uncut theatrical version creating the longest cut available! the on;y two drawbacks i have seen with this version is that one scenes shows the TV station logo for a few seconds and an alternate version of one scene is show after the original scene. other than that, great stuff! fullscreen only

Halloween 6 - Producer's Cut Composite
Again using the Workprint version and theatrical version. this version of Halloween 6 blends the workprint scenes and original Donald Pleasene voiceovers into the theatrical cut of the film. widescreen

Halloween H20 - FX TV Version.
Shown a few times on FX on the USA. this version contains additional and alternate scenes. It has been edited for language and violence though. fullscreen

Halloween - The Homecoming
This version is the original workprint version of Halloween : Resurrection and was used for test screenings before release. it features a never beginning scene which shows an 8mm film showing the entire Myers family in the garden and a very spooky Micheal looking direct into the camera. i beleive there are little alterations throughout the film. italso has a temp score and features the CSI woman ending where she gets pulled to the manhole. widescreen

These are the differnces on the FX version

On the FX Network Premire, there are several additonal scenes added for running time, and a lot has been edited.

Scenes Added:
Marion looking around her house is extended.
Jimmy taking a look around Marion's house is extended.
Michael stalking Marion is extended.
Cops are shown bumbling around outside while Marion is chased by Michael.
Intro to Laurie is differently Paced.
a quick view of the town and school is shown before Laurine and John have breakfast.
a reference joke to Psycho made by Charlie is shown as he walks with John to school.
Michael is shown watching the Mother and little girl during the restroom scene.
Charlie and John are shown talking while they walk the California town outside the school and Michael follows them in his car.
Molly is shown walking through the school halls after getting the roses off the dish lift.
Laurie is shown watching the buses leave while on the telephone before the Psycho homage with Norma.
Laurie walking the school halls at night and walking the school grounds.
Adam Arkin chasing the Shape is slightly different.
John, Charlie and Molly are shown sneaking in through the kitchen window and get stuck while John sees Michael coming into the school. Adam Arkin carves a pumpkin while he opens up to Laurie about his past; lead in for Laurie to open up to him about Michael.
Michael and Laurie stalking each other at the finale is extended.
Extended ending shows Michael's car following far behind Laurine but ends where Laurie chops off the guy's head.

Edited Scenes:
The decapitation at the end of the movie. It cuts to the credits and Halloween music right after she swings the axe, meaning that if you've never seen the workprint or theatrical cut, you wouldn't know whether or not she did indeed cut Michael's head off.
The scene of Michael gettng pinned by the van against the tree has been cut out. It cuts to the van catching on fire. This becomes a goof though, as when Laurie looks at the van, there is no fire, but it starts up again.
The sequence where Laurie is driving down the road with Michael in the body bag in the back has been lengthened. It uses some shots of the van driving down the road twice.
The scene where Michael chases after John and Molly cuts out the shot of the knife going into John's leg when Michael stabs him.
Will's death has been edited. It only shows Michael go up behind him, then cuts to a shot of Laurie looking at him. His body is then thrown down on the floor.
Scenes with the f-word and/or s-word have been dubbed over, or taken out completely.

i haven't actually got round to watching this version yet
