Oh joy I have to pass through Peterborough on the way down.

The interweb is reportings delays (up to an hour) and a reduced service to King's Cross but no cancellations other the 5.50 and the 6.10 so keep you digits crossed for me.

I haven't got a car so if the Taxi can't get to Chateau Bingowings' baronial gravel drive I'm screwed.

I'm going to Orlando next week for a tech conference. Not sure it will change my posting habits, just stating a fact.

Time to unwind in the Hawaiian Islands for a few weeks!

Yet, I will have my laptop and internet access...

Yes, make sure you read his "part 4" thread, then join in on the fun.

^ That would be good in the "Lurker's Name Suggestions" thread.

Anyway, I was just going to bump up this thread myself.....

I'm going to Kansas City next Monday, to visit family and such. My great-grandmother is 90 and has very severe Alzheimers, so you never know what visit will be your last. There is lots of other drama going on down there, but I don't really want to get into right now.

On a much happier note, we are going to visit the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum, which is a place I've always wanted to visit.

Here's some pictures of it, along with a video:

The Nelson-Atkins Art Museum is pretty amazing. Since it's free, I've been there more times than I can count. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Those giant shuttlecocks are awesome. Mostly because they give you a reason to say the word "shuttlecock" preceded by any word you want meanings "big". You have to admit "shuttlecock" isn't a word you get to use in conversation very often, so it is always nice to have an excuse. The fact that they are very large in size just makes them all the more fun.

If you get a chance, I highly recommend talking someone over the age of 21 into going to a place called Grinders with you. It is a bar, but if you go during the day with an adult you should be fine, I've seen kids eat there before. Their Bengal Tiger Pizza is to die for (other pizzas are great too). Their chili, cheese, and tots are also pretty amazing if you feel the need to clog some arteries. It's at 417 E 18th St., not too far from the museum, actually. Mmmm, now I really miss it.

Wait, you live in Missouri?

I just guessed based on that you said you've been there many times. Usually that means you live near it when a person says that.
