It looks like Jon Hamm will be playing Boba Fett in the audio version of the A Certain Point of View short story collection that comes out next month. Do we think he’ll do a kiwi accent, or is this another case of SE changes being ignored, a la Vader’s eyebrows in Rebels?

Odd they just didn’t get Morrison back again. I hope he does his best Jason Wingreen.

If they went back to Boba sounding like he did pre SE, it would be very significant.

Well, he’s never done Boba before, but he’s American, not Kiwi or Aussie, so that automatically makes it more likely that he’ll do a Wingreen-esque voice than a Morrison-esque one.

And I thought I’d seen every bad knockoff toy under the sun.

Nice Phantom of the Opera mask. 😄

Some of the bootlegs out there are amazing. I recommend the episodes of Ashens which feature them.

So, I just got into an argument that the OT hints at the Rule of Two that the Sith go by in the prequel era (not even necessarily the prequels themselves)…

Yeah, the series of films made before there was even a good understanding of the world it was building is hinting at a relatively obscure rule made by people (not even necessarily the same people!) 20 years later, and it wasn’t just the trope of the Dragon trying to pull a Starscream while the Master looks for someone more loyal to replace him. Riiiight…

The Sith would be a lot more formidable if they didn’t have chronic backstabbing built into their order as ideology.

To be fair, a lot of Evil Empires seem to have chronic backstabbing built in as ideology.

True. Though usually it doesn’t extend to enshrining the idea of “you kill Space Hitler, you become Space Hitler” in its official doctrine. That’s just Trek Mirror Universe levels of cartoonishly silly evil.

Had to Google to see if it was a joke.

Of course, it was not.

This factoid from the wiki is hilarious.
In Brazil Panaka’s name was changed to “Panassi” due to the fact that his name is similar to “panaca” which means "douchebag."

Making Panaka eventually side with the Empire in the EU almost seems like punishment for actor Hugh Quarshie since he declined to return for AOTC.
