Okay, won't be adding anymore then, LOL. Yeah, there is a lot of stuff... But some are probably just a few seconds so it'll be interested to see if they've spliced something together, like different pilots into one battle. Would be kinda disappointing if there's a dozen of couple of unused pilot close-ups calculated into that 45 scenes!

And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.

Yeah hopefully they'll group shots thematically.  If a category was called 'Mos Eisley' you could group all the before/after or outside shots, and still have a category for just the interior Cantina scenes.

Wondering if they will use any 'Lost Cut' (no color) sources or just as they've showed with the Treadwell scene they are returning to the shot film?

*EDIT*

Reviewing the details, there are 45 scenes.  Twenty some-odd for each trilogy.  So here's a reduced list of stuff we've seen from the preview and old releases which could help flesh out what's known, and let us know how many could be left open for speculation.

*got tired didn't finish*

OT

  1. SW Luke's introduction / Treadwell
  2. SW Anchorhead / Biggs
  3. SW Cantina

  7. RotJ Luke makes lightsaber
  8. RotJ Sandstorm

  5. AotC Geonosis Trail

Is that from a deleted scenes or just Mark posing for promo picture?

Explanation and pics at bottom.  Here's some of the info:

The only thing that really makes me believe this scene was actually shot (besides the look on Mark Hamill's face) is the following quote from Jon Knoles in the Star Wars Insider, Issue #33 (page 59) talking about the game, Shadows of the Empire for Nintendo 64:

"We knew, for instance, of the scene where a wampa actually broke through into Echo Base and mauled a tauntaun (and possibly some Rebel troops) and a scene where Luke actually took over an auto-laser cannon and blasts a wampa or two. The wampa filmed in this shot looked absolutely hilarious with a big fluffy face and metallic round eyeballs. We saw the picture in a Kodak shoebox Photo CD that Lucasfilm Ltd. provided us with some time ago."

I'm hoping for a few more seconds of the Luke vs Vader fight in RotJ.  Specifically the part where Luke loses his sabre.

The picture of Luke using the cannon is just a publicity photo. The Wampa attack happened before Luke was even rescued, just before Han goes out to look for him.

The scene where the wampas break in was partly filmed, but I don't believe Luke was involved. The way it went was that R2 is rolling down a hallway and then notices something behind him--there is a shot of this in one of the trailers. What he sees is a wampa, and then rebel troops start firing at it. I guess the new deleted scene trailer shot shows R2 running away while this is happening. Anyway, I'm not positive, but I thought the gun cannon was used by rebel troopers in this scene. That would explain why the prop was built in the first place.

The shot of Luke with it is just a publicity photo, and publicity photos don't have anything to do with actual scenes, as long as they look cool. The gun cannon was a good prop to use, so they used it. Luke is in his flight uniform, which he only wears in Echo base when he is heading to his snowspeeder. That whole section of the film is supposed to be kind of quiet and sweet, with Luke saying goodbye to Han. Having a random Wampa attack scene (yet ANOTHER one) where Luke randomly mans some gun cannon while on his way to say goodbye doesn't make any narrative or editorial sense. The only evidence that ever tried to link that photo to a filmed scene is a recollection by a guy who wasn't there in 1979 who is basing this on a photo CD that Lucasfilm gave him. Probably he saw that publicity photo, and then other photos of the wampa being shot, and decided they were the same scene.

You can see another variation of Mark with that cannon when he wears his pilot helmet in Rinzler's new making of book, the cannon is mounted on those small vehicles that were going to be seen in the battle against the AT-AT's.

I am really excited about seeing any remnant of the wampa scene that exists on this new set. I've been an obsessive wampa fan ever since I first saw The Empire Strikes Back, and the cut wampa subplot has always been my favorite bit of behind the scenes Star Wars lore. I never really thought I'd ever get to see parts of it in motion though.

So the cover says deleted/extended scenes so maybe they've added those small little clips into bigger scenes so there's a good possibility to have more of them. :)

I am sure besides the actual footage there is a lot of video interview talk about the extended scenes. Otherwhise it would not be ~48mins of OT stuff.

Thanks none. Well I guess that ends all speculation. All the Original Trilogy scenes sound pretty good, never heard of Lobot's capture and a few others like Luke and Biggs Alternate Reunion. Episode VI might benefit from some of those new scenes and Episode V's love triangle will be expanded.

Look at the Prequel deleted scenes though; where are all the ones that appeared on the DVDs? Please don't tell me they decided not to put any of them so people still need the DVD. Typical Lucas. Still, some of those scenes sound interesting, especially the Lost Twenty in Episode II. I hope those not labeled animatics are completed like the early DVDs, as green screened footage would only be of use to those with great technical skill... Also, I wonder if Liam Neeson voiced Qui-Gon.
