DVD REGION CODE HELP

So currently own the region 1 DVD of “Return of the Living Dead 3” and the region 2 (UK) DVD of the same movie (this, however, is the uncut directors cut). My issue is that, I can’t seem to break the region lock. (Or could be that I am just doing it wrong).

I have used DVD Shrink (to remove the code), and then burn with ImgBurn (says it burned region free). Plays fine on the laptop, but does not play in my Sony Blu-Ray player.

I tried DVD Shrink twice, and no such luck. I have burned through 3 discs, and nothing… Out of discs now (LOL). Anyways, confused because I download the UK Region 2 (PAL) version of Last House on the Left from my spleen and it played fine in my Sony Blu-Ray Player.

My Sony is a region 1… Can anyone help out, please?

what are you converting them into? just pc files like mpeg4 or wmv? if that’s the case then boils down to different players supporting different formats. a pc obviously can play any file format with the right decoder. try a file converter or some dvd authoring software after ripping the disk.

I am attempting to do a straight DVD copy. I’m just trying to break the region code. My player can play the PAL video encode. I’ve downloaded a PAL DVD off the my spleen and it played with no issues. So that is what I am trying to duplicate with my disk.
