DEEP SIX is a story about the perils of running and operating in deep space while following the pilots and key crew members of the first deep space station known as Deep Six.
The series will draw on hard science themes to tell the story and will be using practical VFX. We will be experimenting with actual models, and using high quality projected images as our space backdrops for our real sets.

Fascinating, thread deserves a bump. I’m a bit curious though, for me, great sci-fi has always relied on good characters and themes, not science, which is more often a backdrop than anything.
I’m also a bit confused as to what this fundraiser is supposed to do, since it seems they’ll be able to complete their first episode regardless of its success.
