That is excellent man. Can I suggest putting vader's face in the background of one side of the red sabre - in red, half the death star/death star ii in the other. For the green you could use han and luke each facing aw2ay from the sabre in green.

I am truly glad to see you all haven't forgotten about this idea. I like the CBS look and Rebel's concept. I would like to get a few more ideas up so maybe we can have a vote and go from there. It should be something that stays true to the OT itself. If I knew how to start designing one and a program to do it with I would try one meself but at the moment I am utterly clueless.......lmao

Anyone have any direction they'd like to point me in??

Thanks go to those who have submitted ideas so far.......it is appreciated. I don't want to go to Paul until I get an actual list of people that want these..........and they have to be confirmed too. It just won't be worth the money if only a small group wants in. I was also hoping for a few more entries.........something that maybe we could do a vote on......

If there is anyone who has submissions waiting, please try and get them up so we can look and get a final tally........I really think this forum deserves a nice box to house their collector's sets of original OT sets, preserved wonderfully by one of our members.

Y'know RR, I dig your art from a fellow artist perspective, but I don't really dig it in terms of a box set I was going to shell cash out.

Boy, how many people are actually interested in this thing...it doesn't look like too many. Maybe too many people are living in the "my bootleg version is better than your bootleg version so get mine" section of the board and this goes unnoticed.

Hello,

We had some interest shown in this and then all of a sudden.....**POOF**, this thread just fell flat. I was really hoping that we could have this done but it seems that most of the interest is in other parts of the forum.......if we can resurrect this idea and make it happen I would be the first to put up the cash for my set. It is my hope that this side of the force is not dead yet.....

This is the first time I ever read through this entire thread. After seeing Paul's website I can definetly say I am interested.

This one is my favorite. One question though. Can anyone tell me why Luke is holding a red lightsaber?

If this is still in the works put me on the list. I just have to wait until I have some more bills paid off so my wife doesn't get mad at me for spending bill money

I dunno... seemed like you and I were the biggest supporters.

Maybe we can make a reversable slip cover... y'know, like those cheese-ass jackets from the 80s. Plaid on one side, argyle on the other.

I'm calling dibs on argyle.
For as much as some people claim to hate what Star Wars has become, they sure seem incapable of shutting up about it.
