I used to like NC, but I got tired of his content, and the only CA contributor I really watched anymore was Linkara, and he finally left a couple weeks ago I think.
I actually watched Linkara’s entire series on the Power Rangers. I have no interest in Power Rangers, and thought the show was stupid. But I really enjoyed his videos about them.
Also there was his discussion of “the alchemy machine in Sultry Teenage Superfoxes #1… that turns dog poop into gold.”

I actually really enjoy James Rolfe’s non-AVGN content. Him and Mike Matei are really good to watch just hanging out and playing whatever. It’s got a really nice candid feel to it.

I saw Linkara at a convention a few months back. I recognized him but didn’t say anything (what would I say?). The company has been pretty irrelevant for years now. However, they did play an important role early on, not as much as AVGN, but still. The whole “YouTuber” thing pretty much started there, back when YouTube didn’t really have a community of its own. So, considering all young people seem to talk about now are YouTubers, they’ve been pretty influential, for better or for worse.
Probably for worse. AVGN is still entertaining, though.

This has been fairly widely known/rumored for a long time now.
What gets me the most is that it’s equally as heavily known/rumored that Nicki Clyne (Cally from Battlestar Galactica) is next down the ladder from Mack in the same cult, and that her involvement in said cult was the reason for her departure from BSG.

Smallville was a typical WB/CW show, but it had some strong characters played by good/great actors*. They did much to make it more watchable than it otherwise would’ve been.
*Tom Welling wasn’t one of them.
