I could be mistaken, but it seems to me a common trend that victims keep quiet about their abuse for a long time.

Just because she doesn’t hold a grudge doesn’t make it wrong. That said, even in spite of her impaired judgment, I believe she interpreted everything as consensual. Just goes to show, though, that men seem pretty prone to make forceful advances.

Without commenting on this specific incident, I’d like to point out that “I was drunk” is not a very good excuse.

it’s a phallic skydrawing, and a military aircraft may be the culprit.

Okanogan residents told The Spokesman-Review that they saw the male genitalia deliberately being drawn in the skies above their town by a jet around noon Thursday.

Images of the drawing were quickly posted to social media, residents said, and sent around town through text message.

According to TV news station KREM 2, the Naval Air Station in Whidbey Island has claimed responsibility for the drawing, telling the station in an email that it finds “this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable.”

The Spokesman-Review’s attempts to reach the Whidbey Island base’s public information officer for further information were unsuccessful.

I don’t think it is appropriate to be skydrawing that kind of thing. Kids could see it. I don’t want to look up at the sky and see that stuff and I can understand if other wouldn’t either. Also since this was a Naval aircraft that did this, it means tax payer money was wasted on this.

its funny, my wife just texted me a pic of our daughter after preschool day, she was still wearing the ‘costume’ from their thanksgiving party. nothing much, but a handmade headband that was supposed to be a turkey, but the turkey ‘head’ on the front looked like cock and balls at first glance.

Young children absolutely are not offended by this plane thing, teenagers are gonna snicker, but they aren’t being exposed to something they haven’t seen before.

is it poor taste for a professional to do? yeah, but it also isn’t worth getting worked up over.

The aircraft is going to fly anyway - and do the various drills and maneuvers as it / the pilot should.

It depends on if the this was done instead of the usual drill/maneuver and whether itr was a sufficient for the usual maneuvers.

Kids too young to understand won’t get it, kids that get it may likely think it’s funny.

It would’ve likely dissipated soon afterwards anyway.
