Box Set Sleeve

Does anyone know where or even if I could find plain DVD box set sleeves. Sort of like the official OT DVD release. Then I can print the artwork and then paste them onto the box.

I saw a link here to a guy who made these kinds of things custom style, but I would like to do my own as I don't really like any of his styles.

Anyone have any info....

If you mean Paul Champagne, you can send him your own images and he'll put them on the aluminum cases. A trilogy case would cost about $30.

They're awesome covers.

I've always had to make my own cardboard sleeves. They work ok.

Okay, this is wierd. I was just scrolling down to see a post where I could ask this exact freakin question and found this. I just got back from Home Depot where I bought some very thin plexiglass/plastic. I'm going to try 2 versions, 1 with the plastic, and 1 where I'm just going to use a shoebox chopped and reglued to size. If anybody has already done this, I know I for one would love any tips. As for glueing the artwork on, I've always had excellent results from using simple spray adhesive, since you get a very even cover that doesn't drip, and it bounds like iron. I'm going to give it a whirl this week, I'll check back for tips or let you know how it works on my end.

I mailed him and he will do a custom design DVD slipcase for you........the problem is he won't do just one. I asked if he would do 5 for me and he said that he would.

It isn't worth it to go through the work just for 1 case.

Now, my only dilemma is what sort of design should I do. You can give him your design, but he sort of indicated that he would be able to design something to your specifications. I didn't pursue that with him though.

I REALLY like the official OT slipcase. I just don't want it to be a double slipcase like that one is (the DVDs go in one slip case and that slips into the bigger part).....I wanted to have a case that holds 3 DVDs and it looks just like the outer Official OT DVD slip.

But that seems sort of a waste to me to do something that's already been done.........

Anyone have any suggestions?

I havent had a chance yet to try a cardboard or plastic box set, but recently i've been gathering materials to make a vaccuum form machine, and I think this would be the easiest solution yet.

If you guys hang in there a while longer, i'll post a template for a three disk cardboard box that require almost no Glue. The only problem is pasting the image onto it... The template is much bigger than a 8 1/2 X 11 sheet, so how do you effectively paste together seemlessly seperate printed part onto that box? And what kind of glue to use not to make this project looking like a 4th grader art class disaster?

Hey, a template would be excellent and much appreciated. As fopr the paper, it is possible to buy rolls of photo paper, and then you can print using the "banner" setting, and make it as long as necessary.

no luck on my end. I haven't had too much time to play with the idea. Anybody else?

also, any rave reviews from those who've purchased cases from paul champagne? they look rad, but I can't find any pictures of the actual cases, just the pics that seem like design mock-ups on his website...

I've got a template lying around here somewhere. I'll try to post it sometime.
The box I am working on looks like this:
