Help Wanted: for my Blade Runner edit...

Hello, everyone. I have a MAJOR favor to ask of you, and I would be so thankful for you if some very kind person were to help me on this…

In my version of Episode II, I’d like to change the nightclub scene as follows:

Original Scene

New Scene

My problem is that a high quality version of Blade Runner (containing the shots I need) has not been released to the public. The single-layer disc is horrid for image quality. I was wondering if it’d be possible for one of you that have downloaded the 15 GB HD broadcast to rip a few shots and post them up for download for a couple days. This would be so wonderful; otherwise, I won’t be able to include these shots.

For all it’s worth, I give credit to everyone who helps me, either in the commentary or in the actual end credits, if I can figure the fonts out.

Thank you so much for this! I would absolutely love to blend these shots seamlessly with the all-digital Episode II footage for my edit, but I don’t have broadband and I can’t download the whole transfer myself.

I can send you the necessary .ts files from the 15gb capture that contain that scene (each .ts file is 100mb), I just couldn't reply to your PM because this forum has some very stupid PM programming that allows me to receive an unlimited amount of PMs but doesn't let me send any until I've cleared out enough to get to below 25 stored - too much hassle.

Hi, this is Trooperman again. Citizen's previous offer didn't seem to work out, and I was just wondering with the advent of this new dual-layer Blade Runner disc if anyone would be able to upload the club scene for me sometime. It would be much appreciated, and you will be credited on my edit when it's done.

DigitalFreak, I'm doing an edit/reenvisioning of Episode II called "Shroud of the Dark Side." You can read about it in the other preservation forum. One of my goals was to make the nightclub in Episode II a little more dirty and menacing. In the rough version, I had cut in some Blade Runner shots in order to expand the nightclub. However, Ep. II is all digital and Blade Runner didn't even get a proper DVD release, so I needed the footage in high quality so that it would blend (with the color-corrected SOTDS footage). I had asked before but it had never happened, so I figured that since you've made a dual-layer disc out of it, more people would have access to it and it'd be worth another try right now. Actually, since you made the disc, you could PM me with your name as well, if you wanted to be credited with providing source material.

Still having a spot of trouble uploading. Megaupload unfortunately does the same thing. The clip is 200 mb. Maybe i'll edit it a bit more since it has some in between stuff that you probably don't need.

EDIT: I've removed two segments from the clip that don't seem to be necessary. The file size in now 86 MB. The first is Deckerd talking to some guy about him buying snakes (done in closeups of the two actors) and the second is Deckerd calling Rachel. If you need them, tell me.

I'm trying Rapidshare right now. It says it'll take 90 minutes, but since it's pretty late I think I'll try it in the morning.
