As far as Frink and C3PX and Bingo, I wholeheartedly agree that Frink can be largly credited with the resurgeance of OT.com off-topic. But I can also state that Frink was getting to the brink of being a troll (no offense Frink), but we publicly stated so and he fairly admitted and did his part to respect the wishes of his fellow forum members. Bingo, I do wish you and C3PX would make up for cripes sake!!

I never fell out with any of them.

It was a little confusing to see my tawdry reputation ritually dust cleansed every few days in unrelated threads but I never took it that seriously.

C3PX seemed to be getting how deliberately silly the New Politics thread was and was posting in the spirit of the thread.

I was replying in kind to other posts.

I thought it was all done and 'dusted', I assume that everyday I log on too.

I think some people are blowing this out of proportion.

You'd find similar posts on loads of threads not just now but as Frink's archive threads show throughout the history of the site, it's nothing new and it's not just on the off topic section either.

I didn't say that.  CMG definitely called me a troll but that's nothing new.  C3PX sort of called me a troll but no big deal.  Ferris did not call me a troll but said I was getting close.  That's all.

Anyway, back to farting?

I really wasn't talking about farting, I was just curious as what happens when the human body is directly exposed to the vacuum of space.

I think the "disturbing" posts in the politic threads shown well how far some care of the subjects that were discussed, and shown equally all the relativity the "seriousness" of some contributions would deserve, mostly the most serious. It's perhaps "only my opinion", though it appeared that it was not only mine, and as far as everybody seems to be (originally) invited to express his opinion there, what to say ? Some kinds of expressions are forbidden ?

"Please, could you go easy with photos that slow down my computer when it loads a page?"... Perhaps would have been enough.

The Off-Topic is by nature an Off Topic place, and if someone turn really ridiculous through his acting, everyone will judge by himself. It is no need to call for such a current discussion (that last for weeks) to point these things or to asks for others opinion.

I have no judgement about what did Bingo or Freak, nor C3PX's reaction, excepted what I just said above. But yeah, Bingo's images have sometime subtle under-meanings, so it may make some wonder why he posted that. Hehe.

SPECIAL NOTE (POST SCRIPTUM)

perhaps any one of you (concerned) noticed, but all that began when I proposed Ice creams helped by a picture to calm down a discussion between CPX3 and Frink on a matter that should have belonged to a time long forgotten in which I was the subject... And even you could note that CPX was defending me and showing Frink he may have been wrong through an issue with me...

... I interrupted this discussion with humor, whilst someone else who would have been concerned would have enjoyed very much such a settling of scores in his favour, cause - and I hope you'll open your fucking hears you two guys: I DON'T CARE (and I never did) !
