iTunes Question

My question...

Is there a way to make iTunes not add music that is played back in it?

As of right now every song I play through iTunes gets added to my library. That's fine but sometimes I just want to hear a .wav file or an .mp3 without it getting added to my library.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

GO TO YOUR iTUNES PREFERENCES>SELECT ADVANCED>GENERAL>UNCHECK COPY FILES TO iTUNES MUSIC FOLDER WHEN ADDING TO LIBRARY. THIS SHOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM FOR THE MOST PART. OR YOU CAN JUST DRAG THE FILE TO THE TRASH AND SELECT MOVE TO TRASH WHEN THE PROMPT COMES UP.

Another question...
iTunes can't monitor folders for added music can it?

THE BEST THAT YOU CAN DO IS LOOK IN YOUR iTUNES MUSIC LIBRARY WHICH IS LOCATED IN YOUR HOME UNDER MUSIC.

I thought there used to be a way, but I'm having trouble finding it now.
