Entertainment Weekly's Must See Movies

So, I stop by glennbeck.com and look through his page of news articles when I see "Top 10 Anticipated Films for Summer".

10. Clerks 2
9. Cars
8. The Devil Wears Prada
7. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
6. Little Miss Sunshine
5. The Break-Up
4. X-Men: The Last Stand
3. Snakes on a Plane
2. Superman Returns
1. The DaVinci Code

Looking through this list, I see 1 movie I have only a passing interest in seeing (X-Men), 4 movies I knew were coming out, 1 movie I thought was coming next year, 1 movie that I would have sworn was just a joke (Snakes on a Plane), 4 movies I never heard of and 10 movies I wouldn't shell out money to see even if I got my money back after the movie was over.

Anyone else feel about the same?

I can agree with most of those. I've never heard of Little Miss Sunshine, though.

I'VE BEEN GETTING THE CLERKS 2 VIDEO PODCAST, AND I UST SAY THAT I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOVIE. I'M NOT GOING TO GO IN WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS AS I DID WITH J&SB THOUGH. X-MEN 3 HAS POTENTIAL, AND IT IS TO BE THE LAST X-MEN MOVIE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SPIN-OFFS. HAS PIXAR EVER LET US DOWN ??? CARS WILL BE ENJOYABLE. POTC WILL BE DECENT. SUPERMAN RETURNS HAS "POTENTIAL FLOP" WRITTEN ALL OVER IT, BUT WE COULD ALL BE SURPRISED. WASN'T SNAKES ON A PLANE AN INTERNET SHORT FILM ??? IF IT REALLY DOES TURN OUT TO BE A REAL MOVIE I HOPE THEY GOT SLJ TO STAR IN IT. IF NOT I HOPE THEY USE THE SLJ STANDEE. THE DaVINCI CODE IS GOING TO BE HUGE, BUT I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT IT. IT WILL JUST ADD MORE FUEL TO THE RELIGIOUS DEBATE FIRE. THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA SOUNDS LIKE A 90-MINUTE COMMERCIAL FOR OVER-PRICED JUNK. LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE WILL TANK AS WE'VE SEEN THIS MOVIE IN MANY OTHER INCARNATIONS. THE BREAK-UP WILL HAVE A DECANT BOX OFFICE, BUT IT WILL MAKE MORE MONEY WHEN IT COMES OUT AS AN UNRATED/EXTENDED EDITION DVD MUCH LIKE THE WEDDING CRASHERS.

Oh, hell yeah. They got Sam L. BMFin' Jackson to star in MFin' Snakes on a Plane.

I think theres a thread somewhere dedicated to this. Looks like the most unintentionally hysterical flick since, well, Anaconda.

Snakes on a Plane is described as follows (based on my memory...don't feel like hunting down the plot):

Samueal L. Jackson is an FBI agent, transferring a mafia informant across the country to testify. The mob, however, manages to sneak 300 deadly snakes on board the plane they are flying and hilarity insues.

Ok, so I made those last 3 words up, but you never know. The way everyone here was talking about it, I thought it was some kind of joke at first. Then I saw it on this list.

I want to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I loved the first one and think this one will also be good.
Superman Returns I really want to be good, but I'm afraid that it is going to be a bomb. Its been too long since the last Superman movie, and I'm just afraid that with what we'll get in Superman Returns, it will be another long wait until we get another good Superman movie.

I want Clerks 2, Pirates 2 and Superman Returns to be good. Whether they're good or not remains to be seen, but chances are, I will risk them to find out. Snakes on a Plane intrigues me - I honestly want to see whether it is a joke or not.
