Star Wars Trivia?

Does anyone have a soft copy, or know where to find one, of several hundred Star Wars Trivia questions?

I have Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and am trying to avoid typing them all in by hand.  :(

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Why research old books? Why Google? We can make this thread THE place people come to for Star Wars trivia by crafting questions of our very own!!

Here, I'll start!

- In Star Wars, Luke Skywalker decides to learn the ways of the Force and become a/an ______ like his father.

  • A) Jedi
  • B) engineer
  • C) bingo card

- Which actor/actress played the role of Kenny Baker in the Original Trilogy?

  • A) R2-D2
  • B) Treat Williams
  • C) Michael J. Fox

- The composer of the famous "(Theme From) Star Wars" is ________?

  • A) John Williams
  • B) George Lucas
  • C) Treat Williams

- True and false: Andy Kaufman did or did not play a character in Star Wars?

- What showtune can be heard when dialing the name C-H-E-W-B-A-C-C-A on a standard touch-tone phone?

All right! There's a good start! Anybody else got more?

Aww, I didn't recognize the showtune.  Help me out a little!

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

See, you're probably thinking "major key" and "Jerome Kern"; try "minor key" and "Harold Arlen" and you'll get there.

Hey, remember "The Jedi Master's Quiz Book" that was written by that kid?

Wonder what he's up to now...? Probably serving 20 to life at Rikers.

I played my SW Trivial Pursuit a total of (1) time. None of my friends or family members know as much about SW as I do. :-/

That's exactly what happened to me. It has been gathering dust alongside TPM Monopoly ever since.

One time I arrived at my friend's apartment and he and another guy were playing SW Trivial Pursuit. My friend had four pies, the other guy had two. I jumped into the game at that point. Eight or nine questions later, I had won the game. :D

I just got The Beatles edition of TP this past Christmas (last month), and it's already collecting dust in my closet. That is the problem with genre specific games like that, it's nothing but a novelty gift and a real tease to the person who gets it.  I also have the original trilogy Star Wars Edition of Monopoly (played one time)...

Actually play mine quite frequently.  Either my wife teams up with my more knowledgeable kid while i team up with the younger kid, or this: she reads me Star Wars OT questions and i read her LOTR questions (we have that Trivial Pursuit, too).  Of course, for me the challenge is to win it all in a single turn.  But that hasn't happened yet.

"Awesome!" I thought as I came back to this thread after a couple days, "10 replies to my search for a softcopy of SW trivia questions!"

Thanks a lot, jerks. :(

But back to the topic at hand, I've played SW TP maybe 10 times. Once against my SW fan bro-in-law in front of our wives. I think we were both embarrassed at how much we knew, so we sort of played to lose. I won, so therefore lost.

I also played an 11 year old who was quite good. I tried to feign ignorance of the Prequels, but I had to answer the questions correctly to win. The answer to the winning question was "Nute Gunray." This was several years ago and I'm still upset about it.

Incorrect. The winning answer is always either Ric Olie, hot.like.Olie, Naboobian, or Total Biscuit.

Good luck in your search :-)

Oh, the other thing i do to prolong the game is when i reach the center space for the final question, i must answer all 6 on a single card in order to win the game.

I have to do exactly that also!

I liked playing a Star Wars trivia game with my friends in High School. Of course it didn't involve cardboard and cards. It was more of a pissing contest.

We used to discuss making a true Star Wars video game, just for OT fans.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

True OT Video Game.  Please, start another thread where we can discuss this.

Here's a new question for you all unrelated to this thread:

Does anyone have a soft copy of some SW Trivia?

Stay on topic.  Sheesh. ;-)

Google was no help.  But I'm sure you already tried that.

I did try.  Not that it hurts to ask.  I usually go in the following order:

1. Ask my wife
2. Ask OT.com
3. Google
