Jimbo... Your getting dangerously close to suggesting we violate the first amendment. Yeah, Michael Moore is an idiot, but he does have the right to make his hate-films.

He does have the right to do so. I've never liked it when people change the First Amendment to say 'Freedom of Expression,' but everything I've heard about Michael Moore indicates that he doesn't cross over that fine line between 'Freedom of Speech' and 'Freedom of Expression,' so though I don't agree with him on too often, I support his right to say what he will, even if the Academy Awards speech was on the tasteless side.

give it up dude...

bottom line is white's are afraid of black's in one way or another...
people see them as the low of society and therefore we can point the finger at them and get away with it because society is predominantly white....

Jimbo you sure you dont have some sort of problem with coloured people?
cough cough racist!
lol

Have you not been listening to what he was saying? It has nothing to do with being racist. It is just that there are some who continue to opress African Americans psychologically--making them think that they are hated--or that the world is too unfair. The idea is that they continue to rely on "leaders" like "Reverand" Jesse Jackson and the like to make excuses and get them more welfair money. It's how the far-left tries to secure the black vote. They want them to not be self-sufficient--depenedent on government handouts. The liberal media tends to be "sympathetic" towards the "black community"--making it look like that white people are to blame for the poverty and crime that is rampant among African Americans.

And the "black culture" people like Ludakris, $0.50, ect. dont help matters either. It is scary that they are the people my generation looks up to for entertainment.

I must be rambling here so I'll shut up now.

No don't that was a very intellegent statement that expresses exactly how I feal. Also I agree Moore has the right to do whatever the hell he wants but you have to be a shit fuck to by his stupid propaganda.

i know jimbo isnt racist... im just saying that cuz of his "Why is there no white history month?" which is one of the most idiotic responses he could make...

second he replies to your comment by saying "that expresses exactly how I feal" (which is spelt FEEL) and then ends it with "but you have to be a shit fuck to by his stupid propaganda."

if what you said is really expresses how he feels then im glad you put it into words.... thx Darth
otherwise i would have gotten some incohearant post with the words "shit fuck" in it...
lol

But can you stand it when conservatives lie as well? Both sides are guilty of it.

For proof that liberals lie, look no farther than Clinton's new book or Fahrenheit 9/11. Clinton is trying to rewrite history, and Moore is trying to ignore history WHILE rewriting it.

Still the best man for the White House that is currently running...George W. Bush, your current and legitimately elected President.

Or do you really want Kerry to have control of office, turn Iraq into another Vietnam, and seek to amass all the power he can before he leaves (if ever) office?

Hey, wait a second...sounds alot like Palpatine...anyone else think Gore (or maybe Lieberman) could be Vader?
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

I personally don't agree with Bush on everything. I hate to death his Patriot Act. I also disagree with some of his environmental policies. But come on. Kerry is supporter of higher taxes, less money for our troops, affermative action, and gay marriage. This is so horrible. I am headed to college in two years. I don't want any positions of mine being given to some lazy black ass who has worse grades then me. No I am not racist. But if his grades are worse he should have a lower position. Its so unfair.

Everybody, repeat after me: The US is headed to another "hold your nose" election! Maybe you should just vote Nader instead.

These troops volunteered to die for there country. Its terrible that they are dead but thats the price of war. Saddam needed to be taken out. He was a madman. He did not deserve to run a country. He was a potential threat to the United States. Its the attitude you are with us or the terrorists. He was not with us so he needed to be taken down.

It has to be nearing 1,000 by now. Regardless of who gets elected, we're heading towards a second Vietnam. Think the 1968 Election: Nixon was elected because he promised to bring a swift end to the war, but instead he escalated the conflict. Kerry isn't even saying anything about concluding the Iraq debacle (or at least not saying it very loudly), so I shudder to think what he's going to do about the situation over there if he's in office. Bottom line: we're in a mess, and neither of our illustrious choices for President is going to do anything about it.

That's what I'm doing, Gundark. I may not agree with Nader on everything under the sun (I'm a Republican; how can that be possible?), but at least Nader cares about the average American. I have to vote my conscience this year, and if that means 'throwing my vote away,' so be it.

And that's why the whole political system in the United States must change as soon as possible, or it'll be lead to a nazi-esque facist regime (maybe it's already like that, and you haven't noticed). More than 2 sides of the same coin. More than 2 opinions that lead to the same conclusion. Don't vote to defeat an opinion, vote to make your own opinion to be heard. Don't vote to conquer, vote to heal. Get envolved in your local politics. Don't let the corporations choose the puppet-leaders for you, let your voice be heard! It's your country, not theirs.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Well said, Ric. Though if we could unseat the power that the two main parties have over the televised debates, it would change a lot.

I posted this thought just a couple minutes ago elsewhere, and I think it applies here.

What worries me most about the upcoming election is that people that vote for Kerry, won't be voting FOR Kerry, they'll be voting AGAINST Bush. I haven't seen any recent polls on the issue, but I'd wager that if a poll was done today that stipulated a difference between voting for Kerry and voting against Bush, Kerry would have 30%, anti-Bush would have 20%, pro-Bush would have 46% and Nader would have 4%.

Now, do I agree with you ricarleite, absolutely.

Will anything substantial happen to change it, I doubt it.

It would be nice to have third partys get some more press. Personally I wish someone better then Bush would run. Someone who won't destroy the environment or try to take our freedom with his God awful Patriot Act. Still Kerry is such a wrong direction for the country. The last thing we need is another Bill Clinton. Bush isn't perfect but he is a Hell of alot better then Kerry. What sucks is I turn 18 6 months after the election. So I can't vote. Though I know my parents are voting for Bush.

Jimbo, you sounded very reasonable in this last post of yours. I feel like I can discuss with you. And just between you and me, if I did vote for one of the major party candidates, it would be Bush. He's firm with his positions, and even though I don't agree with a fair amount of what he's firm on, at least he does stick to his guns, unlike Kerry. Is JK for or against the Patriot Act? Never could figure that out, along with many of his other stances. Oh, I get it...he's BOTH for AND against the same stuff, because he doesn't have to have views, since people are only voting for him because he's not a certain George W. Bush.

that idea is how Bush got elected in the first place.

Everybody repeat after me: A vote for Nader is a vote for Bush.
I'm not crazy about Kerry, But I don't like Nader and I hate Bush. I think we really need to get Bush out of office, and the best chance of doing that is to vote for Kerry. But, I still won't make up my mind for certain untill election day. If there were an independent candidate that wasn't too liberal, too conservative, too stupid, too much of a nutcase, or crooked and had good chance winning I would vote for him/her. Nader is too liberal for me and has no chance of winning. All he will do is lower Kerry's chance of winning. if I had to vote right now, I'd probably vote for Kerry. But I would also have to take a good bath afterwards
