you know luke you really should lay off the sarcasum, and you really should be nice to jimbo to. he agreed to stop insulting people now you should as well, or else youll be the next one to get a temporary ban. i am sure jay would say that is ok seeing as the it happened to jimbo for defending himself.

he is not entirely wrong on most of his points. some of his CGI stuff is grounded, alot of the complaints you make about CG can be said for puppet work as well. you know the knew yoda's eyes do look more really then puppet yoda. and his opinions on the PT are mostly grounded as well. and just cus you like some ones work doesnt mean that you worship them. i like the PT and thing that GL did a good job for the most part and rather then say he did a good job your complaining about some medichlorin crap that has no really implietcations on the movie. the same goes for the han shot, it such a small detail who reallly cares how shots first in the end. (i was mad at lotr for not have the battle on palentir fields in darkness but am i complaining about it and insulting PJ NO)

sorry but i have been standing silent for too long and i jsut had to say something ok.

fair enough... but dont tell me that Han shooting first didnt have an impact and that the midaclorian thing doesnt matter....
your backing up your prequels just as im backing up my OT...

as for me being rude to jimbo go back and take a look at a lot of the posts... the guy tells me to shut up.. calls people fucking idiots and even shoots down first time posters which doesnt help the community we're trying to build here...
i understand if you want to defend him but get your facts straight first...

i've already agreed to ignore jimbo's posts in another thread so don't worry...

I think Luke is one of the best things about this board. He contributes to nearly every thread with inciteful ,intelligent comments typically. Look at his number of posts and subtract that out of this board and there would probably half as many. In many ways, he is the board. So take it easy on him.

i agree my posts are down.. thats just because when i was still in college i had to slow down... my teacher wouldnt let me talk on here anymore in class (lol) and plus things just got busy during the last semester... but i knew i couldnt stay away from here for long...

these boards are like the group of friends i wish i could have had the opportunity to grow up with....
for the record i only have 1 friend who enjoys the movies as much as i do...

and you be careful what you say Bossk... i eat bounty hunters for breakfast!

Alright Bossk, you do have a sick amount of posts...and whats amazing here is that I have never seen "bump", which is boardtalk for bumping the thread to the top without adding any real info. Some people on other boards have hundred of "bumps" for posts. BTW, thanks again Bossk for getting my back. You too Luke.

There were a few in the early days with me, motti_soL, Luke, and PSYCHO_DAYV bumping our posts but not with any great numbers. I think we may have each added a grand total of 100 posts to our counts. Once you're at my level, though, 100 posts ain't some grand amount. These days, though, I do more lurking than posting. I try to only post when absolutely necessary. Or someone addresses me directly. We discovered early on what a load of crap bumping is. We all try to avoid it these days. Not much point in it. Just garbles up the flow of the thread.

And, just so you know, wonton, loyalty is rewarded absolutely around here.

Here's the latest from DVDFile.com:

Everything from less readily apparent changes - sound effects to the color of a lightsaber - to more substantive additions, including Ian McDiarmid (the evil Emperor) replacing Clive Revill in The Empire Strikes Back, to Anakin Hayden Christensen's face (badly) added to the body of Sebastian Shaw at the end of Return of the Jedi, or a chorus of cheering Gungians (or whatever those Jar Jar things are called) also tacked on to the finale of Jedi, will be found in the new DVDs. Sigh...but find out for yourself when the set reaches a galaxy near you this fall."
