TNT really screwed Crusade over.
Galen does turn up in The Lost Tales.
Where were you in '77?
Better Off Ted
Very recommended. so underrated. deserved way more than 2 seasons. I encourage fans of Arrested Development fans check it out. similar style of humor, plus even stars Portia.
After five weeks of watching Ash vs. Evil Dead, I have but one thing to say about this show: The 30-odd-minute runtime sucks putrifying Deadite ass.
I’ve watched one-and-a-half episodes of W/ Bob and David, and it’s exactly like the old show…which is a very good thing. I just wish they made more than five.

THAT WAS A VERY FUNNY SHOW. IF NETFLIX HAD BEEN IN THE PRODUCTION BUSINESS BACK WHEN THIS SHOW WAS CANCELLED I’M SURE THEY WOULD’VE PICKED IT UP FOR ANOTHER SEASON.
"Wipe them out... all of them."

THAT’S TRUE, BUT THE SHOW IS AWESOME.

I’ve been watching a great amount of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Archer lately. They both hit me right in the giggle-dick.
I’m currently re-watching all 9 seasons of The X-Files in preparation for the new mini-series coming in January.
I think the X-Files suffered back in the day because of the rigid 24 episodes per season network TV format, and the fact that if you missed an episode you didn’t have an F-ing clue what was happening. But being able to binge watch on Netflix, it really holds up (and I’m skipping the weaker episodes to save time).
I’m on season 7 now. The filler episodes are getting worse but the mythology is really heating up and there are still a handful of great one-off episodes (eg ‘X-Cops’ written by Breaking bad creator Vince Gilligan).
War does not make one great.
I’ve been rewatching The X-Files in preparation for the new miniseries, myself. I don’t think I’ll finish in time, though; like yourself, I’m currently in Season 7, and it’s a tedious, energy-draining slog to get through.
Just finished a Seinfeld marathon, the whole show, start to finish.
I wanna do it again!!
oh, and, one more thing, for anyone named Jerry in real life:
Jerry!! Hellooooooo!!!
With Bob and David.
A out of A+

Yeah the fact that this show only got two short seasons and Two and Half men was on for what felt like half the lifespan of the human race always makes me sad. I am so glad I recorded the episodes and burnt them to Bluray discs when they aired because as far as I know season 2 has never been released on home video and season 1 was only released on DvD.
I am working my way through Alias and have just gotten to the end of episode eight of season 2. I watched this show back in the day but I forgot about most of it over the years and I have to say I am enjoying it and it is funny seeing a big name like Bradly Cooper playing an unlucky supporting character on a show. If you can get your head into the space it needs to be in order to accept this for what it is, then it is a great piece of Sci-Spy.
The scores are really good and you can seeing why the composer’s next project was The Incredibles for Pixar. It’s a fun show that has me hooked and I am enjoying it.
Oh and the guy who played The Stepfather is in season 2 and he is good. Don’t get me wrong that movie was really stupid but he was really creepy in it so it’s nice to see him in something good.
My ratings for the Star Wars movies. EP1 4.5/10. Ep2 4.0/10. EP3 2.0/10. EP4 9.5/10. EP5 10/10 EP6 8.5/10 EP7 8.3/10.

Yeah, TNT canceled the show before the first episode even aired and that didn’t stop them from messing with the show behind the scenes but in the episodes we have I get a good impression of just how good the characters and story could have been, I really wish we had more episodes and TNT hadn’t screwed this show over.

Oh you want a good laugh, look up a scene from the second ever episode of the ABC series Castle(A series I gave up on a few episodes into this season so don’t ask me more about it),Uncle Leo has a cameo that features one of the best scenes in the series.
I know a lot of people who bash Seinfield and find it dated but I still enjoy pretty much all the episodes. You can tell the cast and writers were trying to make a good show and having fun doing it.
It’s a truly great series.

I wonder if you’ll get banned for the second account or for bitching about the new forum in your signature…
People bash Seinfeld?
My sister bashes Seinfeld – not that she ever bothered to watch an entire episode. She’s a stupid, brain-dead cunt who thinks a musician’s only good if they’re popular and mainstream, though, so nothing the bitch has to say on any matter is worth considering.
Leaving aside your unfortunate use of a certain female pejorative term, aren’t you the guy bitching about TFA in various threads, when you haven’t actually seen it?
JEDIT: Two pejorative terms, even.

I already explained that to the mods, the site wasn’t letting me sign into my old account or recover my old account. We have dealt with that.
As for the sig, that is a quote that appeared in both The Five Doctors and The Day of the Doctor and given how much the forum has changed since I was last here it just seemed like a fun little quote to use.

My bitching about TFA’s been relaxed for awhile now.
My sister’s earned it in spades many times over.

Yeah but we don’t need to see it.

The way some people have complained, and the way Jay is sick of it, you probably should reconsider.

Very well.
…
I can still pantomime it, though, right?
Having finished watching the entire first season of Ash vs. Evil Dead, here’s my blunt assessment of it:
It’s an entertaining enough time-killer, but when it comes to the writing/direction/tone/characterization, I find it severely wanting. The potential’s there, but they really need to cut down on the comedy, amp up the scare factor, and start getting a handle on the story they’re trying to tell and the characters they’re trying to explore. Until that happens, AvED is going to remain firmly outside of my personal Evil Dead canon.
My rating: B-
