I never watched the seventh season, so I can’t really say.
The worst thing that happened to DS9:
Oops, wait, that’s wrong. That’s the second worst thing that happened to DS9. This is the first:

Worf was good on DS9. I won’t defend Ezri, but Season 7 was still good for the most part.
The Person in Question
Since watching TNG in its entirety, I’ve never been able to like Worf. His “I am Klingon, hear me roar” schtick forever alienated him to me.
Worf was a great addition to DS9, come on! He’s even more interesting than he was on TNG.
If you want one horrible mistake - take a look at the holographic jazz singer, whatshisname.
Vic Fontaine? He was a lounge singer, not jazz.
Where were you in '77?
Worf was a great addition to DS9, come on!
Meh. If he had come onto the show, sat in the background, and did his own thing without making too great an impact on the other characters or the show in general I could’ve lived with him. But with him came Klingon-centric stories, and I hate TNG+ Klingons. Then he got into a relationship with Jadzia. Beautiful, intelligent Jadzia, settling down with a dumb slab of meat like him? Blecch. He should’ve stayed with Troi and she hooked up with Bashir.
I’m still bummed we didn’t get more Morn episodes. And he should have finally had a line onscreen in the very last episode. Just one little word? 😉

Saw this on tv the other day. Amazing!

oh come on, she wasn’t that bad.
Yes, yes she was.
What was so bad about Ezri?

Vic Fontaine a mistake‽
Maybe it is just because I like that style of music, Vic Fontaine doesn’t seem like a mistake to me.
I don’t trust anyone named Vic.
Ezri wasn’t too bad.

?
I liked everything about DS9. Best ST series so far.
Rogue One is redundant. Just play the first mission of DARK FORCES.

I don’t like his type of music, but even if he would do something like classic rock, I would still find it annoying. Just like Uhura’s singing in TOS - I love Nichelle and her voice, but it just doesn’t fit to Trek.

Definitely agree with your second statement. My beef with the Klingons aside, DS9 managed to completely realize its full potential, something TOS & TNG never managed to achieve.
we used to call it deep space slime, only thing redeeming about that show was quark and odo’s amusing antics.

shame on you.

What about Seven of Nine’s singing? (see my link above)
Why doesn’t it fit to Trek, You don’t think the songs that Vic was singing would make to the 23rd/24th century?
