And?

An unemployed game writer with no prospect of future employment who posts Star Wars memes on twitter all day, might just be a poster or lurker on a Star Wars-centric forum.

We’re not the only SW forum out there, and we’re kind of a niche forum at that.

Certainly we have the best off topic section of any Star Wars forum.

Everyone, when talking about this terrorist attack in Manchester, I urge extreme caution and sensitivity. Check the emotional support thread for the reason why.

The family’s actions suggest they are not confident in the police investigation. They hired a private investigator, and now they are requesting the police department to release more information regarding the investigation.

The following aspects of this case seem suspicious to me:

  1. The police claim it was a robbery, but nothing was taken from Mr. Rich.
  2. Julian Assange has all but said that Seth Rich was the Wikileaks source.
  3. Kim Dotcom said he has evidence that Seth Rich was the source (which I don’t necessarily think is credible), but instead of asking to speak with Mr. Dotcom, or asking him to provide evidence, the police quickly put out a statement that Seth Rich’s death has nothing to do with Wikileaks.
  4. How can they be sure what his death was or was not related to when they have not solved the case and supposedly have no leads?
  5. There seems to be a concerted PR effort on behalf of liberal syndicated papers linked to the DNC. You can tell because in every single one of the articles in the NYT, WaPo, CNN, MSNBC, etc. the writers and editors painstakingly smear Julian Assange and Kim Dotcom, Sean Hannity, the private investigators, etc. But they never mention that the family spokesman, Brad Bauman, is a long time DNC PR operative. That doesn’t mean the family can’t hire him of course, but if a news organization is going to disclose the background of everyone else in the article, it’s probably a little suspicious when the only person they don’t offer full disclosure on is someone who works for the DNC.

This is my opinion, but I think the family’s anger is directed at the right-wing types like Hannity, who undoubtedly have very little interest in Seth Rich’s death, and would use it to advance their own political agenda. I think they have every right to feel that way, naturally. Nothing is worse than watching right-wing nutjobs clamor about Seth Rich in one internet post, and then talk about shooting Muslims and hanging liberal traitors in the next one.

I like how Fox News said this in their retraction of the Seth Rich story:

The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.

Lol high degree of editorial scrutiny.

We’re still waiting for that Obama the Secret Muslim retraction, guys.

On their front page today: “No Russia collusion? No problem for press” Whoopsie, must’ve slipped right past their editorial scrutiny filter.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/may/24/us-officials-leak-more-manchester-details-hours-after-uk-rebuke

The home secretary reflected the frustration and dismay of the UK security services in a series of interviews on Wednesday morning. She described the leaks as “irritating” and said she had made it clear to the US that it should not happen again.

However, within hours, American reporter Richard Engel of NBC tweeted details not released by the UK. Engel said US intelligence officers told him family members of the the killer, Salman Abedi, had warned UK security officials about him and had described him as dangerous.

Emphasis mine. At this rate, the US is definitely going to get frozen out of intelligence-sharing arrangements. Which, frankly, is probably a good thing if your goal is fighting terrorism.

Hannity wants you to know he retracts nothing.

Fox News Retracts DNC Staffer Conspiracy Story, But Hannity Keeps It Alive

Fox News star host Sean Hannity, who had pushed the theory relentlessly, said on his radio show that he retracted nothing. He also tweeted the importance of finding out the truth. On television Tuesday night, Hannity said he would no longer talk about the story “out of respect for the family’s wishes — for now.”

Russian media has been pushing this story relentlessly for weeks. It’s not going away even if Hannity drops it. It’s the new Pizzagate.

Yeah! FOX needs to let everyone know that Barry Hussein isn’t a Muslim. He’s a doped-up chain-smoking alcohol-swilling homosexual Islamicky-Satanist. There’s a difference.

In other “Obama” news: The puppet-masters have Barry running around Europe performing an excellent ‘Valentine’ impression.

There will be those who will stand by their man to the bitter end.

You may commence giggling at that unfortunate sign now.

I’d be curious to know the date of that article because of this:

Orlando Milano, 63, of Elmont, a postal employee, carried a sign that said, “Where’s the real evidence–or is there any real evidence?” He said he doesn’t think there is.

If a Nixon supporter said this after it was known that there was an actual audio recording of Nixon committing the crime for which he was in the process of being impeached, it would be precious. And prescient, as it pertains to Trump supporters today.

The twitter I found it on said it ran August 1st, 1974, 8 days before Nixon resigned.
