I was just hoping to get some clarity on which route is preferred when reporting a breach of the added rules with regards to thread rules in off topic.
Example:
If I’m posting in a thread started by someone else and I notice a breach of the rules, do I report it to the OP of the thread so that they can report it, or should it be addressed straight to the mods instead?

I think I need to clarify the rules regarding OP intent. The purpose behind General Guideline #3 was to cover “topic” and “tone”, not to encourage thread starters to draft strict rules of conduct for individual threads.

This might be helpful. I’ve been working at staying calm but some of these grey areas seem to leave some users open to issue without recourse. Thanks for responding.
