You do not need to publicly announce that you have sent a PM. An update to a private topic is indicated to participants by way of the icon in the top right of the screen.
I understand what you mean. My [PM sent.] postings were supposed to be a helpful indicator for other forum members that these link requests were taken care of. I simply wanted to prevent that a new forum member gets confused by multiple Private Topic invites. Maybe i was too ambitious in that case. I’ll stop these [PM sent.] postings asap.
ask the person to edit their request post, and indicate the request is no longer needed? good resolution. 😃
