Of course you would - it’s a primarily visual film by design. Miller famously edited the first two movies as if they were silent, believing that the visual rhythms would cue the audiences in to the (very simple) relationships and motives.

Would putting “Beyond Thunderdome” in Black & White and no dialogue with only music improve this film?

Thunderdome is the most dialogue-heavy of the four, and some decent material would certainly be lost if the speech were taken out, so perhaps not improved; comprehensible, though? Definitely.

I am just saying that it is an alternative and I would not be surprised if there are mixed feelings on it after people see this version; and it also does not seem to differentiate itself in terms of different footage as in it is very much the same cut in Black and white with no dialogue.

And no-one ever suggested it would be anything else. Perhaps ‘people’ can judge when they’ve actually seen it and understood what Miller was getting at.
