Also, when Luke is given to Owen, perhaps Owen could say something overly demanding of Luke for his age (much like Yoda saying he is too old to begin the training), like “He’d better… … or there’ll be Hell to pay”.

When Anakin rotates up in the Darth Vader outfit, perhaps he can yell a nice, hearty Episode I “Yippie!”.

And if a complete shot could be cobbled together from the teaser, the “arms up” shot of Vader is pretty goofy…

In other news, I’ve just ordered the Robocop DVD so I can use some of the birth of Robocop scene for the birth of Vader. Ideas on how to do this are welcome. Here’s the scene(s).

Man. You could almost just drop that whole scene in.
You definitely need to get the party scene in.
Maybe start with the ROTS surgery scene, then cut away to the Robocop scene, go through the whole thing more or less, and then maybe break away from that like they messed up entirely and decided to do Vader instead, and finish up those scenes as you have them now?

I don’t see any way to sell that.
The idea would be that the Robocop footage shows them working on Vader. The hard part is integrating the two. I can add some Vader lines over the Robocop footage to help, but the real problem is the very dark ROTS footage vs. the very light Robocop footage. I’m not sure color correction can really help with that.
Perhaps it’s one of those cases where the joke is too good to worry about the inconsistency.

You could blank out some of the references to Robocop himself by having Galaxian run as a loading screen game for Vader’s systems.
Tint it orange and you could use most of the sequence (not the arm bits though…Old Ben already set that ship on fire).
